love the sweeney. the anthony has this really awful boyish nasality quality to his voice on some of the vowels. particular the "na" in johanna. it drowns out sweeneys great baritone voice and someone really shouldve said something to him about this before the show.

i love this sequence in sweeney, so i am very critical of it, but i loved it!! antony's voice was beautiful and he was fantastic! and sweeney is ... very inspired by george hearn's rendition to say the least, but i love how stoic he is during killing off all those people. the beggar woman could have been a bit stronger and crazier, and could have tried to make it sound less like she was trying to sing well (if that makes sense...). haha

and that orcherstra is driving me loco.

These guys are pretty good! One criticism is that the 'customers' hold onto the bannister after sweeney has bumped them off. I love the seizure that the second cust has! Anthony is strong and has a great voice. Does anyone else think Sweeney is copying George Hern?

the only thing that bothered me a little was when they say words like "hair" and "dark", they seem a little harsh.

I liked the blood though, and the beggar woman was very good. :) They pulled off Sweeneys back to the crowd very well, thats usually not a good move but it was good here.
