I know the sounds of things can be very subjective. Just go on Harmony Central and see what various guitarists say about the same amp. My question to you is, do you like the before or the after? I just bought the Fromel Ultimate Mod and I don't want to launch into the project if it doesn't really sound "better."
Of course I don't play with my amp set on "flat." Don't things improve if you push it a little?
@flukeyballs269 It was definitely better after the mod. The deluxe had a really strange unpleasant gritty character about it, which was completely removed after the mod. Bass is clearer and more well defined, top end as well. Overall a pretty big improvement IMO.
Finally, a before/after video of the Fromel mod. Thank you for showing the difference. I spoke to a guy yesterday about having this done to my Deluxe and now I'm more convinced than ever that it is the way to go. The mods really make a remarkable difference. Nicely done.
