In all honesty, they have REALLY done a good job on fixing the problems at launch over the past 3 months. They also haven't charged anything in all of this time so we've all been playing the game for free. It is MUCH better than it was at the official release. Who are these 'people' you speak of exactly? WoW has 11 million + players. That one game has more than the PS3 console itself and it's nowhere near any tough competition to WoW, or as you put, 'to kick in the teeth'.

Square Enix needs to stop wasting their time on these second rate games that end up failing in the end. Remake 7, that should revive the series and return Final Fantasy to what it used to be.
My suggestion is to research this game before you say this...it surpasses the overdone and cloned leveling systems of todays current MMO's. It incorporates state of the art graphics. It encompasses SOLO play in balance with GROUP play like never before...and thats just a small taste...

Clearly no one even finished played FF13. The linear part of the game which is about 20 hours is just the introduction/demo so that you don't get your ass kicked by the complicated combat system when you are thrown in the open world for the next 80 hours.

your not very convincing sony released their console a year later "think" which means their would be more people on 360 and ps3 is more expensive because its hardware is a lot better than the 360 and even a fanboy cant complain about that and saying ps3 fanboys get a life your a 360 fanboy and nothing to back up your info and do you know why it didnt release on 360 microsoft didnt want users to pay for final fantasy and xbox live also the next final fantasy will be out on ps3 only

@hoodenmcburg I'd have to agree on you with that part. I played long before the overrated FF7... I played on the SNES, and they were probably the most nostalgic and best ones. FF4 was the best in my opinion. Ever since FF7, this series had gone downhill.

Most people are thinking "OH NOES ONLINE?!!?" they should just wait and see what happens. square enix could very well be developing a ff15 as you read this comment. i beleive that the mmorpgs ff's of square enix are developed by a seperate branch much like the ivalice alliance develops ff tactics games. theres most likely a very good ff15 on the way that is going to be fantastic. sure im skeptic of the quality that this game but just wait and see.
