@Zern227 Technically, it was CTR, but I know what you mean. I don't get why people like running and jumping 20,000 times over 5 games instead of something new. It was fun and is still fun, but as a series ages, it needs new angles and new gameplay. Not be stuck in the 50s.
@Chad Reviews don't change how good a game is. Legend of Spyro was epic in every sense of the word. Sonic and the Black Knight had a great story and fun gameplay. MOM, Titans and Unleashed had great atmosphere and gameplay innovations. Basically, besides 06', you want to take the best games from each series away. None of these games should not exist. If anything, they should all have gotten more development time to put more in the game. Especially 06'. But beside 06', all other games are great.

@Crashfanforever There's an actual video that a friend of mine posted showing soe new stuff and concept art. It looked very good besides some cheesy designs for Crash and Dingodile. Crash looked tooooo Japanese and Dingodile looked like his TwinSanity version on PS1 graphics, which was sucky for his TwinSanity model.

well, if you want my reason it's because the entire game concept changed, all the characters were redesigned and it just doesn't seem like the same franchise that was on playstation. rather than platforming, breaking open crates and spinning into foes, you just punch them, then ride them and do more combat. I just find it dull, plus all the redesigns especially aku aku just don't look or act anything like they did. there. reason enough? ^^

And I like that, despite the large changes, most are still recognizable (I recognized Aku on colors alone). I also am a person who finds platforming dull (unless it's unique, like Ratchet and Clank or Sonic's platforming) without some combat mixed. I just don't get why it's so 1-sided. Very few like them and those who do get insulted & exiled from most of the rest of the fanbase.
well, I dislike beat-em-up gameplay, and platformers are my favourite genre, so my dislike of the new games is natural. I'm cool with people who like the new style, it's just my opinion.

I mean, I fight for the new games because I like them and because there's so many who hate them, but if people hate them, why can't they respect people who do like it? My favorite genre is beat em' up and I like platforming if it's interesting and not too hard. I respect that. I can't just like any platform game and you can't like any beat em' up (I think, maybe there are exceptions for both of us). It's my opinion too.

You're right on most points, but N-Gin hasn't bulit a robot since the ND games (i wish he would, though). You're right anyway. Not too much has changed. Peopl say the new looks are too different, but Cortex is almost the same, so is Crash, Coco, and Crunch. Nina really inmproved on her looks. I don't kno why people hate the masks so much. Oh, that. I love that machine but i was only referring to the Radical Crash games. Well, you see, the new maks look better to me because; Aku has bigger face which makes him look more like a father to the Bandicoot family and kau look more evil wth the bones dangling andthose things sticking out from the sides of his head. The new games are fun and i was a little weirded out by the designs at first, but i thought "if the gameplay is this awesome, i'll try to like the looks too" and i got used to them and now, i like the new look better (mostly because it's new and refreshing). Actually, the reference was to when Cortex betrays Uka Uka in that comc book cutscene... or is that what you meant? I recognized most characters at first glane except Uka Uka. In the first cutscene where you where you see Uka,i thought "who is that" and when i heard Cortex reference him as Uka, i thought "Uka Uka? Is that you?" I didn't really know what to think, but i didn't care because the most epic boss in Crash history would being; The Yuktopus boss fight. Yeah, the MOM designs are better.

Oh, yeah! at was another epic boss fight. Now that i think of it, most Crash games in recent years have had some epic boss fight haven't they? Another epic boss was Cortex from MOM but not as epic as some of Twinsanity's bosses or Ttans' bosses. I know, i think he looks more evil and cooler, but it was a little odd at first, i'll admit.
yeah recent crash games have had some pretty epic boss fights while the first 3 (game) boss fights were good the newer boss fights (twinsanity+) have been the best.

True, only as big as Sonic. I, honestly don't like Mario too much. I think it's because Mario hasn't changed much throughout most of his history and Sonic, Crash and Spyro have and that's why i like the others better. Mario's good in hos own way, but not as much as the other mascots.

I was trying to cover that up, but i feel the same way. Mario hasn't really changed at all. Galaxy makes some innovative changes, but Crash and Sonic (not to mention Spyro) have had great changes and some small twists to make it interesting and make you want to get it's sequel. Someone said to me that Mario going on his epic quest to save the princess and not changing the formula keeps you coming back for more. Not unless there's a change for me. I won't come back. I have most CB games too.
Mario changes. They just made 1 remake. Theres a huge difference between Galaxy and the originals. Mario saves the princess in the same way Sonic foils eggman's plans. The best thing about Mario, is that his fans never bitch (in the same way like with Sonic 4). Mario is a fat Italian plumber who barely has abilities (except when he has power ups), and his fans love him. Sonic has a lot of fans, but many untrue ones. Besides, what do you think of the bitching with Sonic 4?
Simple. I think that their bitching SHOWS that SEGA shouldn't even care much about these insane fans. I'm pretty sure that if that'd happen with Crash, it'd be the same way because the Sonic fans are obsessed with 2-D and here, they're obsessed with Naughty Dog, so things will never changed. (Part 2) And the cool ability to take over large enemies as your own can be defeated by a plumber with basically no powers, but I suppose many gamers just want a game to relax with instead of a battling adventure. Another thing that perplexes me is how some hate the Jacking, yet some spotlight games like [PROTOTYPE] God of War 3 and Dante's Inferno have similar jacking abilities and no-one whines there. The new crash is so weird! I like the new tatoos and stuff on Crash, but the other characters are just so weird! Aku AKu loks liek a monkey! But Crunch looks a bit better. His robot arm looks cooler

only the PS1 crash games made my Naughty Dog were good, those games were my child hood, the wrath of cortex and crash twinsanity were Ok. but Radical Entertainment ruined the whole series, first with Crash of the titans and now this.

Better combat, an innovative idea (Titan jacking) and revitalizing the series with new personalities and designs is not horrible. Would you rather have the same core of the game for 30 years? @Crashfanforever There's an actual video that a friend of mine posted showing soe new stuff and concept art. It looked very good besides some cheesy designs for Crash and Dingodile. Crash looked tooooo Japanese and Dingodile looked like his TwinSanity version on PS1 graphics, which was sucky for his TwinSanity model.

How is running jumping and spinning 1000 times in a single game uber good, but the new games which have many more moves and new, unique gameplay (you can't say the old were completely original. They were way too similar to Mario). If it;s the designs you hate or the personalities: Think about it: Many of the new personalities have logical backgorunds such as Crash getting smarter, N-Gin losing it after being blasted, flamed, and beaten, etc. And the maker of Crash...

So what reason is there to hate the new Crash games? The only thing, ONLY thing I hate about any of the new games is the cartoon cutscenes. They were pretty silly.

People don't complain about Ratchet (from Ratchet and Clank)'s HD change in the Future series and don't complain about him looking more cat-like. I don't see many complaijning about Spyro's physical change in the TLOS trilogy. And not many hating on Sonic's change. What makes Crash's change so comtemptable?

well, if you want my reason it's because the entire game concept changed, all the characters were redesigned and it just doesn't seem like the same franchise that was on playstation. rather than platforming, breaking open crates and spinning into foes, you just punch them, then ride them and do more combat. I just find it dull, plus all the redesigns especially aku aku just don't look or act anything like they did. there. reason enough? ^^

@RayAndFlare Well, then it boils down mostly to taste since I like the new personalities and designs better. And I like that, despite the large changes, most are still recognizable (I recognized Aku on colors alone). I also am a person who finds platforming dull (unless it's unique, like Ratchet and Clank or Sonic's platforming) without some combat mixed. I just don't get why it's so 1-sided. Very few like them and those who do get insulted & exiled from most of the rest of the fanbase.

I mean, I fight for the new games because I like them and because there's so many who hate them, but if people hate them, why can't they respect people who do like it? My favorite genre is beat em' up and I like platforming if it's interesting and not too hard. I respect that. I can't just like any platform game and you can't like any beat em' up (I think, maybe there are exceptions for both of us). It's my opinion too.

You're right on most points, but N-Gin hasn't bulit a robot since the ND games (i wish he would, though). You're right anyway. Not too much has changed. Peopl say the new looks are too different, but Cortex is almost the same, so is Crash, Coco, and Crunch. Nina really inmproved on her looks. I don't kno why people hate the masks so much. The new looks intensifys their personalities. Aku being the protector and Uka being evil and demonic. On a side note; Why did i get so may thumbs down?! :(

Oh, that. I love that machine but i was only referring to the Radical Crash games. Well, you see, the new maks look better to me because; Aku has bigger face which makes him look more like a father to the Bandicoot family and kau look more evil wth the bones dangling andthose things sticking out from the sides of his head. Yep! You got it. Yeah, me too. I just to get why people would rather hate than love if you know what i mean. The new games are fun and i was a little weirded out by the designs at first, but i thought "if the gameplay is this awesome, i'll try to like the looks too" and i got used to them and now, i like the new look better (mostly because it's new and refreshing). To me, the new Crash is like Crash being reborn, renewed, recommitted to evil! LOL at another reference.

Actually, the reference was to when Cortex betrays Uka Uka in that comc book cutscene... or is that what you meant? I recognized most characters at first glane except Uka Uka. In the first cutscene where you where you see Uka,i thought "who is that" and when i heard Cortex reference him as Uka, i thought "Uka Uka? Is that you?" I didn't really know what to think, but i didn't care because the most epic boss in Crash history would being; The Yuktopus boss fight. Yeah, the MOM designs are better.

Oh, yeah! at was another epic boss fight. Now that i think of it, most Crash games in recent years have had some epic boss fight haven't they? Another epic boss was Cortex from MOM but not as epic as some of Twinsanity's bosses or Ttans' bosses. I know, i think he looks more evil and cooler, but it was a little odd at first, i'll admit.

True, only as big as Sonic. I, honestly don't like Mario too much. I think it's because Mario hasn't changed much throughout most of his history and Sonic, Crash and Spyro have and that's why i like the others better. Mario's good in hos own way, but not as much as the other mascots.

I was trying to cover that up, but i feel the same way. Mario hasn't really changed at all. Galaxy makes some innovative changes, but Crash and Sonic (not to mention Spyro) have had great changes and some small twists to make it interesting and make you want to get it's sequel. Someone said to me that Mario going on his epic quest to save the princess and not changing the formula keeps you coming back for more. Not unless there's a change for me. I won't come back. I have most CB games too.

Mario changes. They just made 1 remake. Theres a huge difference between Galaxy and the originals. Mario saves the princess in the same way Sonic foils eggman's plans. The best thing about Mario, is that his fans never bitch (in the same way like with Sonic 4). Mario is a fat Italian plumber who barely has abilities (except when he has power ups), and his fans love him. Sonic has a lot of fans, but many untrue ones. Besides, what do you think of the bitching with Sonic 4?

Simple. I think that their bitching SHOWS that SEGA shouldn't even care much about these insane fans. I'm pretty sure that if that'd happen with Crash, it'd be the same way because the Sonic fans are obsessed with 2-D and here, they're obsessed with Naughty Dog, so things will never changed. (Part 2) And the cool ability to take over large enemies as your own can be defeated by a plumber with basically no powers, but I suppose many gamers just want a game to relax with instead of a battling adventure. Another thing that perplexes me is how some hate the Jacking, yet some spotlight games like [PROTOTYPE] God of War 3 and Dante's Inferno have similar jacking abilities and no-one whines there.
