The USA does have a great folk dance tradition that has lasted for generations it's called Swing. Check out the Balboa and the Lindy Hop on my channel.

you are very interesting dance group (and this in a state like USA with poor folk dances), you can perform nearly all folk dances of Caucasus, Anatolia and Balkan
