I went to the site because I was interested in buying this beautiful setup, only to find it wasn't offered anywhere? Just a new tank shaped like a tube, and a different species of jellyfish. Yes perhaps they're easier, but I was specifically interested in the spere tank, and these lovely little jellies, regardless of extra effort. I think it's all well and good to create new products, but why remove the old ones?

I'm very disappointed.

I'm interested in your 40 gallon tank, but having never worked with jellies before, would you recommend trying the desktop first as a starter tank to get a better feel for how the whole jellyfish process works on a smaller, more manageable scale (acclimating them, feeding them etc)? Also, is the desktop tank now modified to better accommodate moon jellies, as I understand bubbles can be a real problem for them? It appears that the bubbles in this tank flow freely at the top.

Yes, that might be a good idea to start small with the Desktop Tank. Yes, the current Desktop Tank model has a modified bubble tube so jellies are not exposed to bubbles, which can be harmful if they get trapped inside the jellyfish. This video is of our older model.
