  • my favorite 3eb song

  • im going to try to bring back this style of music,it may take years but so help me someone needs to put good music out there.

  • There is no finer music than this.

  • a silver lining of clouds shines on people jesus couldn save and the mystery of your rythym is so feminine some people you cant reach and the way she walks is her rythym my factual interpretation

  • welcome aboard

  • i will never forget this amazing music.......

  • vampires is satanic they are a satanic band this song is a spell. you are al lsheep

  • @HeyEatMyShit You mean like a succabus?

  • fuck twilight

  • Interestingly, they've been playing a terrible cover of this song at work, and the cover 'artist' even edited out the darker parts of the lyrics.

  • My absolute favorite song since 1998. My entire desire to learn the bass in 2006 was because of this song. I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It still makes me lose it! Saw Stephen in Portland Maine play this song, with just an accoustic guitar, a purple spotlight and him singing alone in the State Theater. Sooooo great!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the post! My favourite song of all time. I have "there will be no regrets when the worms come" tattooed on my side- that's how much this song means to me. But anyways, I just want to point out that the lyrics at 0:56 are "I wanna take a hit of your scent cause it BIT so deep into my soul.."

    Thanks again! :D

  • nah man let me have this one please

  • best album every fuckin song is awesome

  • @dubs5121 this couldn't get more true if you had shakespeare behind the writing of it.

  • @gotegenks well said my friend this truly is an epic album for awhile it never left my cd player when it first came out. none of the songs are filler like some bands will do to make their album seem longer every one is actually good you cant find many bands to say that about aic is another one imo keep jamming brother!!!!!!

  • best fucking song ever

  • yes it is. maybe you heard the radio version or something. I dont think i could ever get over this song. it brings out my demons and angels. It self infliction to my mind and soul. but i cant stop listening to it.

  • Is this the original? The one that I have has "Send me all your vampires" in every chorus. Strange, this also has a reverb in it, like it's a live track that you pulled the crowd sounds out of. Groovy, with the heavy synth, but still, the original??

  • Best summer album. EVER.

  • @sicorange3 This has been my summer album for so long now.

  • one of the best CD's of all time!!

  • Yeah Third Eye Blind will always be a great band!!!! they showed up a pre-grundge the sound they bring is easy on the ears for sure :)

  • Really good song to listen on a car ride. Lyrics are freakin deep.

  • by far my favorite c.d. ever. i love 3eb ever since i was 4 haha

  • I stopped the video when I read the first line of the lyrics and noticed a spelling error...

  • the silver lining of clouds shines on people Jesus coudn't save... oh shit! God might be the one who made this song.

  • HIGH-school days 90's ♥

  • My girlfriend and I just broke up...and she may be pregnant with my kid...third eye blind is helping me through this bullshit...that and some Evan Williams... I love this song.

  • I got this cd when i was 12 and I still listen to it now, 3EB is so underrated every song was good! And this one is just sexy.

  • love it

  • wow listening to this song cheered me up good deal

  • one of the best songs on that album.

  • This is the song of my life. I wish I could see them perform this live.

  • how come on allmusic.com they list the writer of this song as someone named "Gus Redman"? they also credit Gus Redman on Motorcycle Drive-By and as co-writer on "Semi-Charmed Life". was he a ghost writer on some of the songs on the first album?

  • 4 people always take a step away from what is true.

  • This is one of those albums that you can listen all the way through without skipping over tracks. This band brings me back to my high school days. Ahh the 90s...

  • @vivarufus Forgot to mention 3EB are playing at Summerfest in Milwaukee on 7/1.

  • This is the stuff dreams are made off.

  • This is one of my all time favorite albums

  • Phew.

  • this has to be the most hypnotic song everrr

  • @redclutchcity Too bad I was 8 years old in 1997 :(

  • @Kennedyy07

damn skippy B) i got this cd when i was a little kid lol. i LOVED IT!! but cd's pretty much are lost now and most everyone is doing ipods so its now on there :D hah

  • i want y0u ..send all ur vampires...rrrrrr:)

  • @TheRob552 I love her too. <3 <3 <3

  • @TheRob552 I can love you more than any woman ever could.

  • this song always haunt me. :))

  • 2 things:

Can i go back to the 90's?

i remember listening to this album when i was 4 years old.

  • i dont know where anyone gets the idea this song is about drugs... he's pretty clearly talking about a little PYT he wants to lovey long time. there is something in this world totally better then drugs kids...and it's free too.... SEX!

  • third eye blind is poetry

  • everyone loves this album

  • "Send me over your vampires"....this line is dope!!!

    Best song on the album.

  • This is and will always be my favorite song, until the day i die. It brings me to tears 9 times out of 10.

  • I love this album !

  • grew up listening to them in my garage:D

  • You all do realize that this song is about drugs right.. as with most of there songs.. O... Ok... Just checking... i thought i saw someone makeing relevance to twilight..... NOT!!

  • GENIUS!

  • C'mon, this band SCREAMS "UNDERRATED!"

  • this entire album ruled. much more than a "pop radio rock" band

  • @Inca127z well put

  • you wanna know how deeply my soul goes..deeper than bones <3

  • @ArmyINdependent

Cause this is a good song. Thats why it was not put in the Twilight movie soundtracks.

  • @ArmyINdependent Im a girl. And I have nothing against twilight,Its just not somthing im intrested in. We all have different opinions about things.

  • @kiffniru weird how third eye blind MENTIONS vamires...and twilight is just what pops into peoples heads. i didnt know those types listened to genius...

  • @ArmyINdependent

I'm a woman and I HATE Twilight. The plot holes are epic. Example: If the only weakness of the vampires is that they fucking sparkle, why do they live in hiding? They'd out number and over power humanity in no time. And why is everyone obsessed with the two timing average girl who has no personality? Lame marry-sue garbage.

This song would sound too mature and not melodramatic enough for their soundtrack.

Would have been good on Buffy back in the day, though.

  • @EccentricSage They did have a song on the Buffy soundtrack. I believe it was "The Background" but I am not positive.

  • @kiffniru ew it was in twilight?

  • @jennielectric No,it was not in the twilight sound track.

  • @ArmyINdependent Not really... put a song this good on twilight would be horrible. Just because he says "send me all your vampires"

  • To be honest, Semi-Charmed was "poppy" and hated it....This is the best song on the album, as well as Losing a Whole Year and How's It Going to Be....

  • This band is AWESOME ..and this song IS AWESOME!

  • Brings tears to my eyes.

  • This song is one song that will bring tears to my eyes.

  • Theyll be no regrets once the worms come

  • "send me all you're vampires" god, i love that part of this song...

this song is so gdamn sexy!

  • Stephan Jenkins is so sexy!

i was little when this music was popular, but i feel like i relate to it so much,

most amazing band of all time <3

  • This is bittersweet for me. Good times and bad times... Such a flow of emotion from the first song to the last. This makes me feel like it's 1997 again.

  • The songs from this album will always be close to my heart

  • Still to this day one of my favourite albums of all time. From start to finish, just fuckin' epic.

  • @cshawz08 I couldn't agree more!

  • was reading a book just now which came to a big explanation of people and set this mood on, and i started to get this really deep feeling, and i looked off for a second and started hearing this song in my head, came from way back, days on the bus and the feeling of this song matched what I felt from the book but better.... and well... here I am, the feeling is here, right at the middle of this great album

  • I seriously am way obsessed with this song now.

  • almost got all the lyrics right! not bad. a better version of the lyrics can be found by googling the title and for now it's the 2nd site. I tried to link it and of course youtube wont let me

  • Awesome cd and they are amazing live. I saw them when they opened for The Goo Goo Dolls and Third Eye Blind blew them away!!

  • I love this song one of my fav .... Brings back good memorys of some one i still want but can not have ;'(

  • I tried not to like this band either, I saw them in '97 in Dallas at this festival..Bush, Paula Cole, Jewel, Counting Crows, Matchbox 20..etc was there. A friend of mine at the time left this tape in my car and this song came on and I had to play it over and over like ten times...needless to say, I still love this song,

  • my fav song of theres an GOO FOR U thats my most fav well an mortacycle drive an um I LOOOVE THE WHOLE CD!!! and im ony thirteen an i own a cd player ppl call me a dinasore but i dont give a crap i have third eye blind's original cd and im ganna listen to it !!!!:) i loooove u third eye blind:)!!!!

  • @twigrlfan123 Good for you. there is some amazing music form the mid to late 90s that i think many people about your age have no concept of. It was a great time for bands like 3EB

  • @twigrlfan123 HAHA thats awesome!!! rocking CD players AND third eye blind!! wow that takes me back. my favorite is the background, i have TBG tattooed behind my ear. (:

  • In our high school all the trendy kids went apeshit over Semi Charmed Life and the local radio station played it every 10th song so i know what you mean when you say you tried to not like them. Songs like this are bigger than that.

  • @Stazmo2 ahahahahahaha, you werent "trendy". That must have sucked.

  • @Stazmo2 Thing is, Semi Charmed Life was a really well written song. It's kind of a shame how much radio play it got because people got tired of it. I love how the depressing lyrics are hidden by the catchy tunes. Every song on their debut was solid and beyond. I think Blue was too.

  • @Sceptorful I was a young teen when this came out, and LOVED it. Then I came back to it when I was 20 or so (I'm 26 now)... and the songs have so much more meaning for me, I relate to the darkness that I didn't previously see or understand. It brings a lot of emotions out for me, I truly FEEL the music in a way I could never appreciate before.

  • Comment removed

  • @Sceptorful the thing about TEB is you dont have to skip any song on there first three cds all timeless

  • @Stazmo2 Ok I'm confused. Why do people try not to like bands that happen to get on the radio. I mean yeah repeating the same song over and over starts to wear on your nerves but who gives a shit, if you dug the song and liked their other shit who gives a fuck? Listen to their other music, shut the radio off, it has that option. Why are people, most people, i should say, so caught up in whether or not the band is on the radio or has an overplayed song? So, who gives a fuck? enjoy it anyway

  • @BleedCountry1 I agree!!!

  • This is a band that I tried NOT to like

  • @ramindsr TOTALLY. I grew up and love them now

  • Incredible

  • Amazing song. havent heard it in soooo long and im so glad i found out how great Third Eye Blind is :)
