My absolute favorite song since 1998. My entire desire to learn the bass in 2006 was because of this song. I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It still makes me lose it! Saw Stephen in Portland Maine play this song, with just an accoustic guitar, a purple spotlight and him singing alone in the State Theater. Sooooo great!!!!!!
Thanks for the post! My favourite song of all time. I have "there will be no regrets when the worms come" tattooed on my side- that's how much this song means to me. But anyways, I just want to point out that the lyrics at 0:56 are "I wanna take a hit of your scent cause it BIT so deep into my soul.."
@gotegenks well said my friend this truly is an epic album for awhile it never left my cd player when it first came out. none of the songs are filler like some bands will do to make their album seem longer every one is actually good you cant find many bands to say that about aic is another one imo keep jamming brother!!!!!!
yes it is. maybe you heard the radio version or something. I dont think i could ever get over this song. it brings out my demons and angels. It self infliction to my mind and soul. but i cant stop listening to it.
Is this the original? The one that I have has "Send me all your vampires" in every chorus. Strange, this also has a reverb in it, like it's a live track that you pulled the crowd sounds out of. Groovy, with the heavy synth, but still, the original??
My girlfriend and I just broke up...and she may be pregnant with my kid...third eye blind is helping me through this bullshit...that and some Evan Williams... I love this song.
how come on allmusic.com they list the writer of this song as someone named "Gus Redman"? they also credit Gus Redman on Motorcycle Drive-By and as co-writer on "Semi-Charmed Life". was he a ghost writer on some of the songs on the first album?
This is one of those albums that you can listen all the way through without skipping over tracks. This band brings me back to my high school days. Ahh the 90s...
damn skippy B) i got this cd when i was a little kid lol. i LOVED IT!! but cd's pretty much are lost now and most everyone is doing ipods so its now on there :D hah
i dont know where anyone gets the idea this song is about drugs... he's pretty clearly talking about a little PYT he wants to lovey long time. there is something in this world totally better then drugs kids...and it's free too.... SEX!
You all do realize that this song is about drugs right.. as with most of there songs.. O... Ok... Just checking... i thought i saw someone makeing relevance to twilight..... NOT!!
@kiffniru weird how third eye blind MENTIONS vamires...and twilight is just what pops into peoples heads. i didnt know those types listened to genius...
I'm a woman and I HATE Twilight. The plot holes are epic. Example: If the only weakness of the vampires is that they fucking sparkle, why do they live in hiding? was reading a book just now which came to a big explanation of people and set this mood on, and i started to get this really deep feeling, and i looked off for a second and started hearing this song in my head, came from way back, days on the bus and the feeling of this song matched what I felt from the book but better.... and well... here I am, the feeling is here, right at the middle of this great album

I tried not to like this band either, I saw them in '97 in Dallas at this festival..Bush, Paula Cole, Jewel, Counting Crows, Matchbox 20..etc was there. A friend of mine at the time left this tape in my car and this song came on and I had to play it over and over like ten times...needless to say, I still love this song,
my fav song of theres an GOO FOR U thats my most fav well an mortacycle drive an um I LOOOVE THE WHOLE CD!!! and im ony thirteen an i own a cd player ppl call me a dinasore but i dont give a crap i have third eye blind's original cd and im ganna listen to it !!!!:) i loooove u third eye blind:)!!!!
