  • ok, so what'd you set the gravity to, the inertia of your character models?

  • Just default VQ3 in DF - the rockets move more slowly so it's easier to catch up with them.

  • LOL just get a teammate and a god mode. U can't believe what u can do with rockets. You can also boost your teammate with the lighting and the railgun.

  • :P It is pretty trashy. It's more gimicky than anything. I got it because I saw infiniteTrajectory (the iT team) use it in one of their scenes ^^ back when I was in the habit of trying to imitate professionals! =D

  • If you open your pak0.pk3 with any compiler - like winRar or winZip, then you can see a list of folders. Look for the weapons one. Open the rockets folder. If you use a program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop (I use PSP not PS) then you can edit the .tga files. Make backups of any original files first.

  • You can edit the skins in the pk3 files using an image editor like paint shop pro or any program that can deal with .tga files. Make sure you back up your originals, or you could make a right mess. Remember also to recompile your skins by recompressing them with your winRar or winZip. I simply mapped an image over my rocket launcher (:

  • yea dude that was pretty good and the camera guy did an awesome job. One question: How did u get rid of ur HUD?

  • =D I did all the recamming, so thanks! ^-^ To remove your HUD from view, bring the console down and type in "\cg_draw2d 0". A full list of these commands can be found in the DOCS folder of DeFrag, but it does take a lot of time to find things x.x especially if you want to display cross-hair stats like OB detection...

    Just ctrl+F things that begin "cg_" then you'll find most things of interest.

  • Actually this wasn't too bad, Pand66 ^^;. This looks pretty much the same as the original. It's recorded with FRAPS at half size, no sound, 25fps. The camera angles, btw, are done with MME, but I'm sure you can guess that x)

    But yeah, I'll upload for you the first person perspective so you can see how I did it (:
