@MHslayer1 It is possible to cut off its tail, but first you must damage it (you'll no when it seems as if some scales have been cut off), then you have to wait until he rages, and then you can cut it off.

nargacuga is so fun to fight hes even funner to fight when in rage mode, i was fighting him the first time he was easy i thought i was underestimating him i got hit by the tail slam and i knew i wasnt underestimating him i fought him with rathalos s armor 435 defense i fought the 9 star nekoht urgent quest.

NIce job on Narga? Any tips on soloing it? I have full hermitaur z and golden falchion. I use ps3 ad hoc party (american) but i need help soloing it. Hope to see more vids soon.

Thanks! For soloing him, be sure to focus attacks as much as you can on his head, his weakest spot. Avoid his pouncing by running to his side (not away-in front) when he gets ready to do so.

I try to make them useful in their own way, gemming them for skills that I think fit with the armor and the monster it came from. So yes, I do use them.

Although occasionally I do spam a RA+3/Sharp Sword/Sharpness +1 set XD

You can fight him first in Nekoht's 8* missions as an urgent quest or you will face him as a G-level monster in the Gathering/Guild Hall for the HR8 Urgent Quest in to the G** missions.

Yes he is super fun to fight: cool theme song, intense attacks, awesome sounding/looking. I have already made all of his stuff and I still like to fight him for fun!

why dont u reload every 3 times with the flaming shot?

I added decorations on my armor to give it the skill,"Auto-Reload", which allows you to shoot without having to reload your bowgun. If you have a bow, then you don't have to press triangle and circle to witch coatings.
