The reason he was so hard to kill is because you were using the wrong ammo type. Take note of the shield next to his health bar, it shows that damage is being deflected. The armor piercing rounds dropped him much quicker.

@wnlinfl ED-E can be in one of two places...he can either be at the Lucky 38 inside the Presidential Suite OR he can be in Primm. Unless you told him to wait somewhere, he should be in one of those two locations. You can also check the World Map and your companions are labeled on the map if they are currently following you.

@TheMonsterCable All American, variant of Marksman Carbine Uses 5.56mm does 26 standard DMG per bullet and156 standard DPS but can go UP TO 300 and has a scope, what's not to love?

The Survivalist's Rifle has 46 standard DMG and 187 standard DPS though, but uses 12.7mm.

I still prefer the Survivalist's because I hoard high grade ammunition and therefore have like 2000+ rounds for both rifles.

Yeah, tip on killing Gaius, just repair the hell outta a Blade of the West till its fully repaired or past the little black line then just use the lunge, "Special" attack on him, kills him in 1-3 Hits. At least for me.

No. This armor is available only if u nuke Legion, or if u nuke both, NCR and Legion.

Either way, Legion must be nuked in order to get this armor.

If you bomb them you can get both unique armour and weapons, however you'll have them as enemies most probably (depending on your like level with them you could still have one not hate you i.e if you're idolised by NCR like I am, your like rating will go down but not enough for them to turn hostile)

1) Its understandable because of the multiple endings with this game. NCR, Legion, Yes Man and Mr. House. It wasnt possible for Obsidian to do such a huge DLC. It would have been amazing tho, but what can u do.

2) I like all DLCs but Dead Money. Its the only one I didnt play through. Too less fun in it. Others are all great, and weapons/armors as well, especially when u have them all. Lonesome Road was a great ending for the game and Im sad to leave New Vegas soon (Rage&Skyrim).
