  • Can't wait to try this for my Grell crossplay

  • Cool! This should be great for when I'm cosplaying Ciela (Ciel Phantomhive's female version)!

  • Wonder if you works in mine, they are really black x_x

  • @annuekusa12 same here... ._.

  • Super helpful thank you! My sister uses that exact same wig (or at least one the same colour) for her Saria cosplay!

  • OMG THIS IS SO HELPFUL. I have dark as hell eyebrows, so I really hope this is gonna work, and its so easy too xD

    SUBSCRIBING NOW.

  • You have the prettiest eyes!! x3

  • What is the name of the music in the background! I must know T^T

  • Can you just wash out the glue when your done?

And does the eyeshadow fade after awhile?

    Sorry for so many questions XD;

  • this really didnt work for me... i have super jet black eyebrows and they are thick. i used the same procedure but my black hairs still show through the blond... any advice? i would be greatful ^^;

  • Can you use spirit gum instead of glue?

  • I cosplayed as Lisbeth Salander for the girl with the dragon tattoo remake release date last night but I had trouble with getting that bleach look like Rooney Mara because I have very dark eyebrows and I have NO intention on using permanent hair color products just for a costume, thanks for this tutorial you rock!!!!!

  • thaaaaaaanks!!!!!! *w*

  • THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! YOU'VE EARNED MY SUBSCRIPTION! im going to need this for my rin cosplay!

  • BRILLIANT. THANK YOU.

  • how long does the eyeshadow stay?

  • OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!

  • YES TYVM!!! i cosplay ciel phantomhive from kuroshitsuji(black butler) and he has grey hair! hard to keep up with that WITHOUT permently(bad speller lols) colouring my eyebrows!

  • what if i have thickish and jet black eyebrows?

  • hey can i do that with my eyelashes ?

  • Awsome trick i figured out if you have dark or back eyebrows like and trying to get a light color, use white eyeiner and fill out your eye brow with it then use the glue stick and eye shadow it makes your life a hell alot easier.

  • @Lunabellamoon Thanks that helped, i have sorta skinny eyebrows but their black and couldnt figure out how to make them look brighter (i am cosplaying panty) Also thanks to the uploader i subsribed

  • Stick glue and eye shadow. Why didn't I think of that?

  • Man! Thanks so much for this! I tried it out today AND IT IS SO GOOOD!

My eyebrows are still pink now :D I should keep them for school haha.

  • great step by step camera/shot quality, but the glue is bothering me, i bet your hairs get so clumped! i think a step in there would be to trim and shape them with an eyebrow brush first. the eyeshadow would stick so much better if defined instead of a sticky mess

  • did you dye your hair green?

  • @LaurynOviedo It's a wig for cosplay

  • OMG TY TY BUT DOES THIS MAKE YOUR EYEBROWS FEEL ICKY...? AND DOES THIS WORK ON PEOPLE WITH BLACK EYEBROWS?? TY :)

  • Oh wow, awesome! I was expecting this to be a really difficult thing to do and was starting to freak out a bit but now I know, thank you for this great video.

  • Love it!

  • haha thumbs up for nepolean dynamite style music in background xD

  • a white eyeliner pencil as base works fine too ^^

  • Ahh, this is a good technique. I'm doing a Grell cosplay in November and my eyebrows are black, and it just... doesn't look right. I'll definitely have to try this out, thanks!

  • @tophatstailcoats Better than acrylic paint...

  • I'm going to cosplay as probably Rin Kagamine or Neru Akita from vocaloid, and my wig color is like brownish blonde with slight orange color (hopefully you can imagine that @@)

Do you think light brown eyebrow pencil will work? <=/

    Thank you~ X3

  • @frealynn Depends on what color your brows are... if they're dark you probably need this technique to change the color.

  • @TheCosplayCorner they're not only dark but.. almost black.

    and it's quite thick.

do you happen to know how to paint/conceal the eyebrow to your/my skin color? No worry, my skin color is quite bright, so probably what you do to yours will work on me too =D

    Thanks ;D

  • @frealynn Well, I'm gonna do a tutorial on this particular thing soon. It's gonna mix this technique but add a twist. Find a good thick foundation (I'm talking like, cream.) and glue your eyebrows so they're protected. Take a small brush or even a sponge and "conceal" your eyebrows until they're gone. Then you can draw in your eyebrows with the color you're wanting. lol!!! Hope this made sense.

  • @TheCosplayCorner Oh, alright! No worries, it makes sense. Sounds perfect to me. I was thinking of such way too, but it was just still blurry images,so I really need such tut! =D

I'm subbing, but I don't check my subscriptions regularly, if you don't mind will you PM me or reply again to this comment when the tut is posted? =3

Hehe, hopefully it will come up before July 24th (since I'm cosplaying that day),or else I should do all the struggle myself (& probably got bunch of craps for it,haha) T-T

  • Do you put the color on after the glue drys or while it's drying?

  • @BobofEarth The glue dries really fast... it did for me anyway.

  • This is awesome!! Thank you! <3

  • @yaoifangirl2009 Welcome!!! :)

  • Comment removed

  • I'll have to give this a try when I get home for summer break and see how it works with my pink wig! XD

  • @theroseofbattle Pink is super fun!!!!

  • It's amazing how I found this right before I have a con! Thank you very much for the tips!

  • @Doraneko3153 You're very welcome! Hope you subscribed! <3

  • Thank you. I have dark, thick, black eyebrows and I'm cosplaying as a character with bright orange eyebrows. Would I just do it the way you do it in the video or do I have to do it another way? :/

  • @NicoNicoLily You can try using a white cream eyeshadow stick below it to make it pure white. Then layer the eyeshadow color on. That works for me, and I also have thick and very dark eyebrows.

  • @NicoNicoLily I always recommend testing technique's out to see what works best for you.

  • WOW!!! This is exactly what I was looking for, and I wasn't even trying to find it yet! This video will so come in handy when I'm cosplaying Miku Hatsune in a few weeks! I'm gonna have to lighten my brows a little, lol. ^_^

I think I'm going to subscribe to your chanel, as you're videos are pretty dang helpful!

  • @999AiKurai Yay!!! Welcome to the family! :)

  • @TheCosplayCorner I just wanted to tell you this worked great for when I was Miku!!!

  • @999AiKurai Glad to hear it!!! I'd love to see pictures! CornerCosplay@gmail.com

  • @TheCosplayCorner I'll be sure to send you pics when I can!

  • @TheCosplayCorner is the glue hard to get off?

  • whats the song in the background?

  • This is a wonderful tutorial! Thank you!

  • do you let the glue dry before you aply the color?

  • Great tutorial, primary characters I do are blonde, what kind of acyrilic paint you recommend. I usually do america from hetalia, beat from twewy, etc.

  • GREAT tutorial!!

  • That is so awesome! I did not know you could do that!! thank you so much because im going as will of the abyss and she has white hair so my eyebrows defintely dont match the hair color!!

  • THANKS A BUNCH :D

  • for blonde wig how i can do it?

  • @Glanzsama I'd stick to a light brown eyeshadow. Blondes don't tend to have blonde eyebrows... so find a good light brown eyeshadow and test it out. Search pics of blonde celebrities as reference... you want it to be as natural as possible... not cartoony. :)

  • @TheCosplayCorner your are right *____* thank you so much C:

  • @TheCosplayCorner I'm planning on cosplaying as a Super Saiyan from DBZ. Any tips on how to get the eyebrows as blonde as the wig? I have dark, thick eyebrows and I have a feeling that even layering on the eyeshadow thick probably won't work for me.

  • @Keiichi808 There is another method cosplayers use which uses acrylic paint. It looks like a good idea if you're needing bright colors, although for super saiyans I wouldn't recommend using a bright yellow. I prefer the natural look... BUT if you look on cosplay.com's forums they have a section for tutorials and you should be able to find the acrylic paint tutorial. I recommend using a light yellow (think of banana laffy taffy yellow) :)

  • never knew about this method till now, seems cool! I'm gonna try this

  • isent that a pain to get out?

  • @codelyokoaleita not a pain! Warm water and soap does the trick! :)

  • wow awesome i been looking for this like 2 months for making a cosplay thanks a lot for making this tutorial

  • Thanks for the tutorial, i'll try this for my Cortana Cosplay :) and I love your wig ! :D

  • Whats the beautiful background song called ?

  • wow thanks for this ^_^ i've also tried out doing white eye liner pencil as a base then just applying the coloured eye show over the top and that was alright, but i'll try this out too =] I'll be cosplaying Alois Trancy from Kuroshitsuji in october (xD long way off) and he has blonde hair while my eyebrows are DARK haha buuuuuut even though it's ages away i'm being super prepared for it

  • thank god! i need green eyebrows to go as Gumo (Gumi's male counter part)

    thank you sooooo much

  • Oh wow thank you! I was on coscom looking this up. To be honest, I really did not like the idea of putting paint on my eyebrows xD.

    Thanks!

  • yay you'r tutorial saved my nextc expo srsly thanks

  • but hiw du you get the glue away frome the Eyebrow?

  • @d99ization I'm pretty sure you just wash it off. It's elmers washable glue, so I'm pretty sure when yoiu wash your face/take a shower you just have to wash your eyebrows as well.

  • I found your video via coscom. This is an excellent idea and a lot less messy then the acrylic paint method I tried previously. I'll have to try this out for my upcoming cosplay. Thanks for the advice :)

Is there a specific eyeshadow brand you'd recommend for this?

  • Wow so easy and yet i have yet to try this XD And i have dark thick eye brows too so this helps alot thanx!

  • Awesome thank you so much for this. I was wondering how to do that. Do you think this will work as well if I have dark eyebrows and want them to look white? I'm cosplaying Akashiya Moka from Rosario + Vampire for Ohayocon January 28 2011.

  • Thank you for making an easy-to-follow tutorial. I'll test this out. <3

Btw, does this work if you need white eyebrows too?

  • Love this video. Your voice is so...Awesome. LOL.

I love how not-fake it sounds. Hope that made sense XD

  • Great video! You are so cute xD I was getting nervous about how I'd make my eyebrows blonde, but this seems like an ideal method... Thank you! =D

  • i love you for that!.

[ sorry for my bad english xD ]

  • Oh man, thanks so much for this. I'm going to do this cosplay in about a month where her hair is a very vibrant red and I have really dark eyebrows XD

  • amazing... THANKS YOU FOR SHARING XD I've been wondering how the heck i should color my eyebrown... and make them look natural :) thank you so much :)

  • They're perfect!! *-*

    Thanks for the tutorial! :)

  • omg! finally a tutorial! :D thanks !!!

  • That looks pretty natural! A lot of cosplayers I've seen have their eyebrows done to where it looks super cartoony. This looks pretty nice though =]

  • @LxExplosionx93 Thanks! I thought so too... I know some people like to do this trick with acrylic paint and well, I don't want to put paint on my face! haha. This is easier because the color rests on the hair of your brows, giving it a natural look. :)

  • wow this was a genius idea cant wait to try it!

  • good idea :]

  • Apparantly none of my costumes had to change the eyebrow color. Alucard did have white or blonde hair but I don't think his eyebrows were the same color to begin with. Glue can be used as makeup? Are you Saria from the Zelda series?

  • @twilightwindwaker Not cosplaying anything in particular. Just wearing something for example... Green was the best color to wear to show how to change your eyebrow color.

  • thanks! this will help out alot:)
