Russian cosmonauts described things like a green ball, shining and glittering like from a christmas-tree "appearing" in front of their window, staying there for a couple of seconds/minutes (time vanished in their memory) and then..gone again..

It's more like unindentified appearing objects, rather then flying...our idea of space and time will probably mean nothing in their perception, it seems to take a "look" at "us", however. Very nice, thank you, streetcap!

I think you are correct. They move so fast that we must appear to be totally Still next to them. They have accelerated Craft which of course would be necessary for long distance space travel. Some sort of Hyper-Space thing which I cannot begin to understand. I leave that to the Scientists.
