  • This is a bitch ass video.

  • You guys should totally re-up this vid in HD.

  • Man, at least 290000 views are mine... Nah, just kidding... But shit This is maybe the 50th time I press the replay button.

  • THIS IS TAKING ME SOMEWHERE I DON'T KNOW

  • Scott Kelly is a true metal artist

  • The sun that never sets burns all.

  • man, i can't get into dubstep and shit. doesn't feel right making music not on instruments. neurosis just knows how to put a good thinking jam together.

  • @ya483 Yea, but many drum'n'bass/dubstep songs are made with electronic drums, which are materially played by a drummer. Such rhythms are extremely funny, much like sped-up funky! If you try and play such rhythms you can get a nice basic funk vibe even if you're not much like into funky, like me (and I'm sorry for myself about it)

  • Hmmmmm "RA"

  • 36 IDIOTS!!!!!! PEOPLE IGNORANT

  • who the fuck are these people going to bands that rule and hitting dislike? I would LIKE to put them to sleep.

  • so i meet this guy from some shit hole place called minnesota at the bar yesterday and he was like dude you gotta check out a band called neurosis these guys fuckin suuuuckkkk.

  • @bassistdave109 I like neurosis but this is hilarious.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • @GolliwoggMusic wtf is a Golliwog?

  • @VladFerdinand1 golliwogg is a racist drawing made in usa during the slave's period. and a band, i think

  • Too mainstream for me.

  • you have to be seriously intoxicated on some sort of chemicals whether booze or something else to enjoy this

  • @Subjugator1866 or maybe (& I know this may be a difficult concept to grasp) people just have different taste to you?

  • @DSHK9 yeah some people have drug induced taste, others dont

  • Comment removed

  • @DSHK9

Better to be on drugs than to be so insecure you have to keep coming back to argue over a song you don't even like...

  • @SharksInTheGenePool thats the problem with relapse records

  • 33 idiots

  • ahhh, my ancient enemy... The Great desolate one we call 240p...

  • I got a Fabreeze ad which makes me feel bad since I just bought some Fabreeze yesterday... But it smells amazing.

  • Sublime!

  • this song takes all of the stress and pressure away. I wish more bands could accomplish that with their music.

  • "There is no light without darkness"

  • this song is fuckin beautiful.

  • This is like "Sleeps Holy Mountain". Neurosis Changes with every album. they renew themselves with every endevour and I applaud them. Still relevant still kicking ass after 25 years.

  • Perfection on tape

  • visceral

  • this is the best band in the world. Pure emotion, the path of a righteous warrior through the trial of tribulations. They are the amalgamate with darkness of pink floyd.

  • best fucking band... after pink freud

  • haarp and neurosis.. mmmmm...

  • BEST FUCKIN BAND IN THIS FUCKED UP WOLRD

  • Tool are a safer version of Neurosis.

  • I like how Youtube's suggestions on the side bar include Limp Bizkit and Nickelback, as though such soulless musical bastardizations are in any way comparable to the godliness of Neurosis.

  • NEUROSIS is a pillar of metal. They are truly an original band that has among many things built their own genre. Humble, powerful, epic, sprawling, dense, heavy, tribal, beautiful, graceful, delicate, psychedelic are a few words that describe the band. They are an enduring collective of almost 25 years! Here is to 25 more...

  • @SECtennesseeSEC psychedelic doom

  • Only few people understands the worls image that Neurosis gives us. I think they are really good!

  • m i high ???

  • @MrJuniorsk8 no

  • @MrJuniorsk8 yus. yus u r.

  • Way to go Relapse Records, uploading in shit-fuck 240p

  • @Henryhardtits cheap fucks

  • @Henryhardtits you have to be high to understand the intense concept of this video

  • More than good enough to sit through a fucking mormon commercial for.

  • this touches my soul as if im on a halucinogen

  • Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter

  • Listen INNERTY - enter the void!!!!

  • reminds me of when i was becoming myself in my mother's womb....... good times

  • @undert8er

Actually the other 8% are just pseudo philosophers trying to get tons of thumbs up.

  • Music that goes straight from soul to soul...

  • i felt this

  • One of my favorite songs of all time.

  • a fricking ad for makeup? what the hell??

  • great song

  • the blood that flows through me is not my own

  • New Years Eve Friday Dec 31, 2010 - Seattle, Washington

Infinite Productions presents NEUROSIS, Ludicra, YOB and Brothers Of The Sonic Cloth @ Neumos 21+

    I'll be there

  • I've always set Neurosis as their own genre of music. Amazing band and am honored to have lived in a time to see some of their greatest work come forth.

  • am i crazy or does this song have a jim morrison feel to it?

  • @skylineqrt4 not crazy.. insane

  • Makes me feel all tingly down stairs

  • I grew up listening to Tool, Neurosis, Melvins, Alice in Chains and Acid Bath around the same time, I put them in the same category of that time period, but I'm not going to bother giving said genre a name.

  • I really don't see any comparison at all.

  • Could anyone advise a couple of good albums from theses guys? Ive looked at the back catalogue and its extensive - no idea where to start! Ive ended up here from the Tool/ISIS/Red Sparrowes etc camp if that helps in recommending...?

  • @jay13thstep start with "eye of every storm" and then "a sun that never sets"... "times of grace" and "through silver in blood" if you are brave...

but start with "eye of every storm"... it's truly a beautiful album :)

  • Is Scott not even singing in this song? It looks like it's just Steven to me.

  • Primus sucks

  • Tool = Amazing

    Neurosis = Amazing

90% of Youtube Comments = Retarded

2% of Youtube Comments = Rare insights of intelligence

8% of Youtube Comments = Trollolololololol

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift that was a rare insight of inteligence

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift Only 8% trolling, huh?

  • @634devil the 90% includes the retarded trolls

  • @APPLEAPPS1 Why am you are do what this was that you didn't even because the game

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift

    YUS!!!

    Tool... for the win!

    Neurosis.. for the metal!

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift

Too fucking true. So many sheep, few wolves who get it and would be able to get a job done..

  • @Sidar654231 Too few Metalheads that learn to appreciate most metal, and only rag on the bands that sold out and become shitty. Or metalcore/crabcore bands.

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift

That's what I mean, man! Minds only work when they're open, like parachutes... oh well, this shit comes and goes. People who get it are constant, and usually invisible.

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift yes... i agree. most everyone on the internet is retarded. well, i guess that goes for most of the general population...

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift

    You = Poser

    You = Poser

    90% of you = Poser

    2% of you = Poser

    8% of you = Poser

100 of you = Poser, you faggot

  • @APPLEAPPS1 Riveting tale chap

  • @APPLEAPPS1 relax man.

  • @APPLEAPPS1 I think this kind of a comment is kind of what he was pointing at hehe

  • @APPLEAPPS1 so.... basically, you are a faggot?

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift So the chances that your comment is retarded are quite high.

  • @kaakatin Nickelback is awesome.

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift awwright! u kno the feelin' when u herp so much dat u actually derp? I felt it when I realised dat my comment had high chances of being retarded too ::__________________DDDD

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift i think you are way underestimating the trollololool

  • @topografer I thought about that and only 8% is actual trolling by people who know how trolling really works, and the rest is retarded newfags who confuse trollin and being a dick, because they're not the same thing.

Not to say people don't get trolled, they're just retarded too.

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift this falls under the 90% range

  • Comment removed

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift so true! oh shit I think I just trolled, guess I'm in the 8%...

  • @VoidBeyondTheRift You sir, are part of that 2%

  • neurosis is better.. so there. sue me, tool is great and and all but their no neurosis.

  • I don't get the whole dispute about Neurosis and Tool you guys are having. I myself find Neurosis a much better band, but that's me.

  • Goddamnit I never get tired of this song!!!!!!! I fucking love this shit. Actually, I would totally smear shit all over myself just to hear this song.

  • It's like Mastodon+Tool+God=Neurosis.

  • Neurosis rocks

  • mastodon, isis, tool, neurosis, baroness! THIS IS THE FUTURE OF METAL

  • Anyone else find it hilarious that Google ads thought ANYONE wanted to buy Nickelback tickets while listening to Neurosis?

I do like their ads in my email, though, most are for LSD rehab, so maybe they're not entirely retarded after all...

  • if you're comparing tool to neurosis you're not enjoying the music

  • Why is Tool even being mentioned here? They're a completely different band.

  • @Shippingshit Because faboys need to be retarded and have nothing better to do. I mean, shit...every fucking metal band in the world owes their whole gimmick to Sabbath, so I guess they can ALL go fuck themselves, right?

Personally, I've always thought of Neurosis as a 'thinking man's Slayer', probably just the voice and some of the guitar tones more than the overall style, but if you can picture Slayer on acid instead of just being booze hounds it's not that far of a stretch I guess.

  • they are the reason humans have music.

  • fuck.. this is so powerful.

  • despite the ranting of maniacal idiots who spend all day arguing about bands I love the song, like the video (never really fell in love with music videos in general) great band classic record

  • despite the ranting of maniacal idiots love the song, like the video (never really fell in love with music videos in general) great band classic record

  • @wacojesus,@chongo666,@blackswanwhite....all you guys are fuckin dumb. I could realky give a flyin fuck about what u guys think. An thisshit aint ART for fuck aakes dude this band blows fuckin goats... Jus like all u posers

  • Fuck Yea!!

  • Ahh, I just love this song!

The blood that flows through me is not my own.

The blood is from the past, not my own.

The blood that leads my life is not my own.

The blood is strength, I'm not alone.

  • Is there another vid of this with better quality????

  • when i close my eyes to this song i picture myself harvesting corpses after a big bloody fight - i was the sole survivor of my tribe and i will vow revenge - but i must bury the bodies first - the skys blood red and all my movements are like in slow motion - i stand upon the burial mound and scream - revenge will be mine - after i smoke this joint

  • @chongo666 lol

  • @chongo666 lmao wtf you putting in them joints man? nice intro your book you should write though.

  • @chongo666 your story paints the image of the souls at zero cover in my mind...... up until the joint part haha

  • sooooo fucking goooooood

  • stop! Tool? N-Rosis thing. We like.

  • its not even that kind of music bro man dude

  • I wish I did not like this! I mean, i don't want long hair and cut my wrists in a black painted room but this is really fookin good!

  • @redcommando1

    wrong stereotype dumbass

  • @redcommando1 Great way to show you like this music, by insulting the band and it's listeners.

  • @redcommando1 Alright then, listen to the music without doing any of that other stupid shit.

    It's not a hard concept.

  • i picked up this cd when it first came out based on art work and it changed the music i like

  • This makes me think of my ancestors, my fathers and makes me feel grounded. The blood that flows through me is not my own...

  • @Einherj1 yeah...whatever you say dude...

  • fuckn amazing to be stoned n listien to them

    their FUCKN AWESUM!!!

  • this song reminds me of the melvins a bit.

  • blotchy67 you said such a stupidity...how can you say that one of the greatest bend ever sucks...neurozis is more than great band..but pantera made influence on lot of and,and on neurozis too,cos there will never be band like pantera ever again...the most powerfull band thet ever lived

  • @blackswanwhite Most powerful? what about Led Zeppelin? not even Neurosis is that good. led zep is THE best in music, in my humble opinion.

  • @manbearpig91 OMH what about Isis tool?

  • @blackmanorigins all of the bands mentioned are amazing, but truthfully they probably wouldn't have appeared with the influences of led zeppelin and black sabbath pioneering the metal genre. i think led zeppelin is some of the most powerful and well done music in histrory.

i don't compare neurosis to led zeppelin. they are too different. i like them each for what they are.

  • @manbearpig91 even porcupine tree

  • @blackswanwhite Dude, Pantera was a glam band up to about 88. Neurosis came from the hard core punk scene around 85. I really don't think Pantera was any kind of influence, aside from the fact that neither of the two sound anything alike.

  • There is only one band that can chill me to the core and thats Neurosis!!!

  • Fucking awesome.

  • @Ian666grizzly -- That is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. Pantera were in no where in the same league, in terms of greatness, as Neurosis are. Pantera has two musical switches/emotions. Neurosis runs the gamut. This is pure fucking art.

  • they need to be alot heavier more metal and not all the high notes...more like pantera

  • @Ian666grizzly why?

  • @Ian666grizzly Why would you want them to be more like Pantera? There already is a Pantera, why do we need another one?

  • @Ian666grizzly they sound fine to me...y does everone want every other band to be like other bands? doesnt make sense is all

  • @Ian666grizzly pantera sucks

  • @Ian666grizzly Maybe you need to pull Dimebag's rotting cock from your vagina.

  • @ganglu Neurosis are good. Dimebag was good. No need for the childish remarks.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ian666grizzly i dont get it-why would they want to sound more like pantera its barely in the same genre-do you want evry band to sound like pantera?your a fuckin communist if you do-thats whats wrong with people like you man--if you dont like something you degrade it and wish it sounded more like something you do like-your missing the point of things being diffrent in this world and having choices--your dumb

  • My first time ever hearing this song..it was on a Nickelback Mix OMG absolutely amazing. Intense video..very creative and fun.

  • god gave this to us to even the score with Westlife.

  • By Jove, this track is something else indeed. Has a very doom metal vibe to it but manages to be something else entirely. Very haunting and foreboding lyrics as well.

  • THIS SHIT ROCKS. SUGGEST MOAR PLZ

  • Uh, guys. This song is one of the most positive Neurosis songs. Crawl Back In would be an example of a vastly more depressing one. Or Origin from Given to the Rising.

  • Is it just me or does it seem like the lyrics are about indoctrination and war?

  • @scetch There are good Nick Cave songs?

  • someone recomend a couple good neurosis albums.

  • Comment removed

  • @AChozenSunn all of them

  • @AChozenSunn A sun that never sets, Given to the rising, Times of Grace etc....

  • first time hearing this and I dont like it

  • The first time I heard this song, made me depressed. I was also scared the shit out of this band when I was trying to listen to one whole album from them. Good times.

  • in the beginning, that sound...jsut like a dog being shot...creeps the shit out of me

  • who the fuck disliked neurosis in this video?

  • wow first time hearing this and its fuckin sick

  • Their music reflects the rage devoured in the sludge motion. they are themselves the sludge metal! That's why they are considered Mastodon's mentors.I'd not say that they are better..no.. but they were the inventors probably of that kind of music that I adore

  • one of my favorites

  • I'm so fucking glad I came across Isis and now Neurosis. These bands just have such emotion behind their songs, if anyone hasn't heard Garden of Light by Isis; Go listen to it now, that song blew my mind.
