I was cross-shopping between a bimmer 5 v6 and the genesis and the base price of the bmw was pretty much the top end of the genesis. i like bmw and love the handling but would rather get more power instead spend 30k more for a top end bmw, or even 15k more for a mid range

other than that, i think the genesis is a solid car other than the dealership experience @ hyundai isnt right for the consumers of this car in contrast to lexus or bmw,

well GS is more of Sports car, like 5 series, not a luxury car, but they are both in similar category in terms of price. And yes, Lexus interior is not that great, except for LS. But $8000 is still alot of money. If you have kids, you should use that money for their college money. or insurance bills.
