Which Dandy Warhols song? The Dandy Warhols started out out in 1994 pretty much, and didn't have a national presence until their second album, I think it was in 1997?
nilesmoney hits it in the head...... though I love all U.O.'s records, Americrusier, Super Sonic Storybook and the Stull E.P. are amazing....... I rell miss this band.... You all ever hear Ed "King" Roser's defunct band Electric Airlines? I got it!
I loved UO, but this record pales compares to Americruiser and the earlier stuff up to, and including Saturation, but even that record loses the band's "frontal attck "{ mode @ times in search for diversity. Exit the Dragon was pretty weak I think. Check out "Ticket to LA" on here. That's what this 3 piece sounded like back in Chi town in '90.
I have to agree with you. I first heard UO when americruiser just came out...and then they topped that with supersonic storybook and garnered rave reviews in the likes of spin, etc.
while exit and even saturation are quite passable and have their moments, the albums on T&G and stull were the real deal: I dare any "latter-day fans" to go back to UO`s pre-geffen stuff and still pronounce saturation or exit their "favourite UO album"!
This is one of the BEST songs EVER written. From one of the BEST albums EVER! I'm not kidding. Not everyone agrees with me but when I still get goosebumps and shivers all these years later there is something to be said for that!!!! Not everyone can hear it but there is something VERY special about Urge Overkill.
Never tire tuning into this video/song...great lyrics and flow of melody....FYI - strong rumour has it they are nearing end of studio album...and they are also playing at a street festival gig in Chicago on June 20
Exit The Dragon was most excellent, and with the new one out any day now I get a bit nervous. Go Roeser!

Which song ? Bohemian Like You
No big deal, as its just a standard stonsey kinda chord thing - Urge: 'I'm fallin' down, I'm fallin down..' vs DW: 'cause I like you... I like you'

One of the most underrated songs of the 1990s. A great tune and very poignant words.
