The older Sigur Ros songs are more peaceful and make you feel something very deep, while this new music (at least this Gobbledigook video) just makes the members looking a like a bunch of savages.

Some people think only themselves get naked, only themselves can see beauty in natural things, only themselves feels something stronger than sex, and it is in some sense hedonistic of their part to show this kind of intimacy to the public! I really despise this "natural art" or whatever it is!

One of the best songs of the year. A song like this could be a career killer for many groups, but Sigur Ros just keeps going forward. There are millions of drums and a chorus of "la la la la" and they pulled it off beautifully.

Sure, it's a great time for humans if you're not impoverished. I don't think the video's talking about that. I think it's a call to accept and admire natural beauty, not be so self-conscious and stuck-up. Plus, the song is one of the best things they've written imo. I still enjoy their more cinematic songs, but this has a very simple, tribal feel that's mirrored in the vid.
