  • I would slap that german socialist son of bitch to the death...

  • FOR Schultz......Read HITLER they are one and the same!

  • well done Czechs. Great. and this MrNikolai100 is talking such a bollocks that I wonder what sort of books he reads to get so stupid info. Probably issued in Russia.

  • and btw our country was always pushed around by others , and its starting again , so yeah, fuck you , if you dont know what im talking about then rember the time when the big europe countries GAVE US to hitler without us having the possibility to say anything

  • hello im not russian but i read the history very well . czech wanted to be controlled by russia because soviet was strong and it was good for russia . but america played a game with countries like czech and georgia and some other small countries to let soviet down.Russia always was mother for these countries even to georgia and helped all the time. but what happened to USA . Russia now is strong as it was soviet without those countries .... its just for knowledge !!!

  • what the fuck ? :D you´re saying that russia was mother for Czechs ?? :D:D:D:D never heard such a funny shit : )

  • Common for all peoples in Europe: DECEPTION.

Corrupt justice, corrupt politics, corrupt authorities.

Fake financial system based on virtual money.

Stupid bureaucracy, stupid laws, stupid rules, all contradictory or pluri-interpretable.

Immigration plans to set up peoples against each other.

Hoaxes, hypes, hysterics and contradictory media-reports to cause chaos and disorientation.

    Malicious practices to cause insanity.

Technical frequency transmissions to cause disillusion and depression.

  • "small nation syndrome" :D not czechs, maybe some other smaller nations.. Czechs just know what is it like to be under control, so nations who dont know it, should listen to experiences of post-communistic states. Btw in France is still nation called "french" ? you call it still like that ? :P

  • you know whats one of the reasons why czech oppose? cause before the ww2 germans took part of the czech ground (sudet´s)because the uk,soviets and who ever else technicaly sold us to the nazis .... the lisabon treaty gives right to the germans that moved to those grounds during and before ww2 to take the homes and such back even though they werent theyr to start with, sound fair to you?

  • ok, Czechs why don't you leave EU? If you are so skeptical! Stay out!

  • 1.29 Martin Schulz says:

die ja, weiß Gott, gestraft genug mit diesem Staatspräsidenten ist, den sie da haben...

Well, this is what and how he says it. It is rather an insult to the Czech President!

    The correct translation:

---which, God knows, is punished enough with the president that you have

  • Comment removed

  • Not everyone is brainless sheep you know?

  • WTF is this shit sentimental music? Are u trying to imply something? Go flush your NO propaganda video down your toilet.

  • D.E.A.T.H to lisabon treaty.

We have only small voice in EU parlament, so our country would be ruled by another people in EU.

We will not give our country to hands of faggots that who can't even find our country on map.

  • I'm in total agreement with you.

If the president of Czech hold on to sign Lisabon Treaty, the new British PM will reverse it !!

  • Vote no to lisbon!!!

  • The Lisbon Treaty creates a secretive new Standing Committee for Internal Security, known as COSI : new proposals will create an EU ID card register, internet surveillance systems, satellite surveillance, automated exit-entry border systems operated by machines reading biometrics and risk profiling systems.

Source : Open Europe/The Guardian newspaper.

It's time to for us all to wake up...unless we want a BIG BROTHER EUROPE !

    No to Lisbon/the constitution !

  • Well said Mr. Zelezny! Thank you for those comments! And what a lovely ending: Mr. President Klaus, you have our support, fight for us!

  • Schultz may not be the orator that Hitler was but he seems on every count to have the same command of the language to utter his weasle words in persuit of a totalitarian, centralised, authoritarian committee dictatorship where the EUP emulates The Duma with many languages and no opinions accepted, the Commission as the new authoritarian Politbureau and the MEPs no more than Massively Expensive Parasites providing sound bites for local home consumption as over paid sales reps for a toxic product!

  • NOW WE WANT TO KNOW THE EU EXPENSES!!!

The accounts of the EU have NEVER been signed off by accountants because even THEY do not believe them!!

How can we vote for the EU when they vote to keep their expenses secret!!

PORK BELLY POLITICS. We the people count for nothing. we are simply the proletariat.

    MORE PLEBS PLEASE!

  • Martin Schultz (Ger - Socialists) said "We are strong when we have a strong legal basis". I would like to know what does he understand through the term "strong" related to "we". And also we as people, or we as the EU ? From my country's experience, I know that in the communist ages the LAW was much stricter, you couldn't "do whatever you wanted" and you were punished much more severely for a lot of reasons. Maybe Martin Schultz was refering to this kind of "strenght"...

  • what is the song at the end ? Like the sound.

  • Malá bílá vrána - Středověk - /watch?v=DhP_REw-rs8

  • The EU is not going to get away with its dictatorship because to many people are waking up to the real agenda. The EU commission are clearly in a state of panic summed up on Monica Frassoni's expression on 6.42. We must be careful and above all strong because these power hungry people will try anything to impose the Lisbon treaty including a second Irish vote late in 2009. I can be sure though that Freedom and democracy will prevail as it is integral to our human spirit and can not be defeated.

  • Klaus sucks, but it's truth the Lisbon Treaty is a new Munich Treaty. After I have seen how many energy have Frenchmen to sabotate our presidency, I think we should leave the EU, just stay in the Schengen Zone.

  • Barroso is a criminal who supported the Iraq War, what do you expect from such a scum bag? He's an elitist right-wing who has no regards for democracy and different opinions.

  • A right-winger? He's a former (?) maoist, I don't see him as a right-wing serve. He's as leftist as he can get and a totalitarian bag of cat's vomit.

  • that's my boy Klaus! you tell them baby boy! :) No way with the Lisbon Treaty

  • Great Topolanek and SUPER Klaus on 19th February 2009! Finally the truth on the hegemonic and neo-autoritarian EU project comes out! ;)

  • klaus vid coming up in an hour ;)

  • Barroso is an illuminati, so ultra corrupted, sinking Portugal in a deficit from corruption, and is a dictator that wants to impose the "Trick of Lisbon".

The freedom of Europe is to cancel the European Union by the illuminati, and each country live its life.

  • I am realy asshamed as the citizen of Republic of Slovenia that EU can`t give me a chance for deccent democratical elections, so I would have a chanse to change the Barosso and the wholle European Commision !

  • Referendum...REFERENDUM..

  • Convert him and be on his side?! Really?

  • in czech is very unconciliatory oppsosition and rivalry. This is barter - end of additional charge etc. ...in exchange for Lisbon treaty. Or Lisbon treaty ...in exchange for resignation of Topolanek, no more.

  • Long live President Klaus.

Fuck that cretinous little marxist, Barroso.

  • He was a member of a Portugese socialist party during his early political career.

  • He's obviously no longer a commie. God, at least I hope so. Is he still? Pls. advise, and I'll retract my statement below. At least he's sensible about the fucking eu. Thanks for getting back to me.

  • Barroso was a socialist. President Klaus has always been a conservative (note the small c)

  • Damn straight, WATB.

  • be in NO DOUBT......we are dedicated to the UK withdrawing from the corrupt, communist dictatorship that is the eu

a new political party is being formed to do just that

we do not recognise the eu in any form in so far as their laws impact the british people within the borders of the UK

in simole terms, we will govern ourselves according to OUR laws, made in OUR Parliament and NO LAW made by ANY foreign politician will aplly within the UK

the UK is LEAVING the eu

  • The right to strike..but not really.

If the strike restricts the movement of capital.goods, persons & service ( the whole point of strike action ! ) then it is against the law.

    European Court of Justice rulings : C-438/05 & C-341/05.

The right to votebut not really.

The EU parliament has no powers of legislation !

The right to life ..but not really.

Footnote (a) Article 2(2) of the ECHR:

live ammo legal c) in action lawfully taken for the purpose of quelling a riot or insurrection.

  • barosso looks like a pimp

  • This is NOT a rascist question : " Should Turkey (and it's 72 million citizens) become the EU's biggest, poorest and most powerful member ?"

It's a geographical; cultural and geo-political question not often asked by EU elites....perhaps because they won't approve of the answer.

Good luck to lreland and don't forget to vote in the European elections on June the 6th.

  • I believe there will come a time when Turkey returns to its roots and takes command of central asia where most Turkic people reside. Perhaps a small part of Turkey - the part on the European mainland where Istanbul (Constantinople) is - will secede and establish some democrsatic republic of turkey - which would join the EU...

  • 'Strong legal basis, strong Europe, Effective Europe, Powerful Europe' That sounds like a Europe in which rights aren't protected and representation is small. Opposite of what I believe.

  • Mirek Topolanek the Czech Prime Minister is a true Demarcate, and I thank him for his solidarity with the Will of the Irish people. Why should we be bullied into another referendum under false promises of legal guarantees, No means No. this is proof positive that the EU is an antidemocratic super state. I would like to point out that unlike the people of the U.S.A we the people of Europe did not get the option to vote for president Barroso as the leader of our super sate.

  • SECOND Irish referendum??!! When was this decided?

    Idiots....

  • Great News! Please include subtitles.

  • When the EU army is up and running and Turkey have joined the EU...the EU's military will be bigger than that of the US !

By then,Russia,Syria and Iran will be on the EU's borders.

I am sure that the (un-elected) EU President and Council will then tell us which country our children should die in.

« To those who cling to power through corruption and deceit and the silencing of dissent, know that you are on the wrong side of history « .

    ( President Barack Obama, January 20,2009 ).

  • Spenner56 - I wouldn't bet my ass on Obama - you'll soon see that he is not what he's portrayed to be... by far.

  • the undertitles dont work for me

  • Obama is good !

  • Whenever a citizen of an EU member-state has a dispute about a court ruling which is not in their favour, it is extremely unusual for them not to take the case to the European Court, to have it overturned. As for Ireland threatening the EU over the €uro: As soon as Ireland gets itself marginalized within the EU, or exits the EU, all of those with skills will be off to the USA, England, Germany, etc., as quickly as possible, and Ireland (ROI) will revert to the quiet times of the 1970s.

  • Fuck EU, this institution is all about centralisation which can only create totality. We need decentralisation, smaller governments closer to the people. Viva Czech and Irish people and other who will support them in their fight for Liberty! Europe of free nations!

  • Couldn't agree more, the current Lisbon treaty is nothing more than a mantra to legally power the technocrats and open the door into fascism and take away and diminish freedoms and legal rights from the citizens within the EU. And it revolts me personally how the current awfull Portuguese government itself didn't choose for a referendum. I hope the treaty fails and it's a innocent shame to have that treaty named Lisbon.

  • no subtitles for me either, how does this work?

  • duder113, that's cos your captions are turned OFF. You need to re-activate the captions from the lower right hand arrow (pointing upwards) on the Youtube screen. Place your mouse on the arrow and click on popup when it says "Turn captions ON"

  • God damn it. And I voted for Schulz some years ago. I hate myself right now so much because of this!

  • As a German I apologize for the ensulting statement about the Czech president of this idiot Schulz! He has no manners at all, this is just disgusting!!! He should better listen and discuss the facts about the many obvious undemocratic elements in the Lisbon treaty!

  • I personally don`t consider him a german since he is not a patriot, but a trator to his own country, and a sick internationalist-marxist.

  • If only there was people like you and the people commenting here in the European Parliment

  • i totally agree on this point, and cohen-b. is a disgrace too.who ever votet for those criminals should be deeply ashamed of themselfs.

  • Don't worry, most of us KNOW that politicians NEVER represent their citizens (or hardly ever). Kathy Sinnott is an exception, of course. Thank God for her

  • Thanks. Would you provide english text for every speech (also for english native speakers)? It would be easier to translate to other languages (e.g. Polish).

  • emicra, not quite sure what you mean. But English text is provided in subtitles. Caption must be activated.

  • @europarl: I know, I can see, but only for non-English speakers (from Czech, Belgium, France...), but for native English speakers (from Ireland, UK) I can't see such line of text.

If you can provide (if you would) just this text then translators from other countries will have more simple job to do.

When I'm listening Nigel Farage I can understand 50% of his speech, but when President Vaclav Klaus speaks in English I can understand about 99%.

  • @emicra, ok, I see what you mean... I'm not yet sure how to solve this language problem. These videos were initially intended for Emglish speakers - but of course they are of interest to many more - and yet it takes quite some time to transcribe :)

  • hey, yeh the subtitles arent coming up for me either, like they normally do...what do I need to do? thanks man and for posting this

  • Translation?

  • Right side of the video box, this little Arrow Up. There you can activate the translation.

  • thanks

  • "We welcome debate" Barosa..

If the Irish had voted Yes would we now be forced into having another 'referendum'??

Debate for these people means enforcing their centralised agenda of putting more power into less hands.

  • Bravo Czechs! Bravo Vaclev Klaus! I salute you all.

  • Może ktoś polskie napisy zrobic do tego filmiku?

  • Film może mieć napisy w różnych językach, ale ktoś musi przetłumaczyć z angielskiego na polski (google translator used)

  • Vaclav Klaus is great, standing up to the imperial empire's forces, who won't take NO for an answer. The Czech's suffered under the Soviet Empire, they no doubt don't want history to repeat itself.

  • oh ok thanks

  • why are there no subtitles?

  • there are subtitles - but you need to ensure that the captions are ON - from lower right corner - there's a popup.

  • The drama the debate the craziness.

  • Thanks again for your work europarl.

lol, after months with the french presidency what a chocking difference :D !!! This is great !

Vaclav Klaus is my new hero !!!

  • yes, it boggles the mind - even the attacks come differently...

  • ehm, I can´t understand the half of it...

  • alienspacecentereast, why? No subtitles? Or simply you just can't...?

  • Ahhh, I see, no problem, I am with you now!!!

  • all these men should be hung

  • they're all traitors to western civilisation values

  • amen to that

  • Oh God, how I hate that Eurocrat Socialist Extremist Martin Schulz.

  • u missed one adjective: NAZI/FACIST.

  • He really is a prize tosser, eh? The Liberal which preceded him isn't much better--acts a total prick in "Creeping EU Totalitarianism".

  • Just found the caption button, thanks.

  • I can't, marcus. Give a brother some help. Clicking the little "cc" box doesn't seem to be doing anything...

  • When you pass your mouse over the arrow in the lower right corner of the screen there is a popup - when you place your mouse over the popup it should read "Turn Captions On" (or OFF if it is already ON).

  • Much appreciated--are the built-in scrolling ones being dropped?

  • I guess so, InTheRainstorm, cos sometimes they go too fast - but we'll see, cos soon I'm getting better software and I could do them myself in a better way.

  • The youtube screen, of course :)

Let me know if unsuccessful, tnx

  • How does one turn on YouTube subtitles, exactly?

  • There's a small popup on the lower right corner of the screen.

  • Thanks very much!

  • Subtitles coming later?

  • Subtitles are there - There's a small popup on the lower right corner of the screen.
