you are wrong, this mod is far better and i started it even before the guy who did real gta3 was born, but i updated it a few years ago when i created my website for sharing my megamods, i didn't even knew real gta3 existed when i already had some of my videos published here in youtube, i've never played real gta3 only seen some videos here

don't you see all vehicles, billboards, names of streets and lot of textures, gps, weapons , and even the player replaced?, everything changed for better , even the statue of liberty is there, lot of things not present in gt3. this is my megamod and the first mod pack available for gta3, long time before real gta3 or any other imitation, this is just an updated version because the original was too old

but they are very different to mods in PC (game uses different file formats so you need different tools) i don't have any consoles so i don't know how to do it, and i don't bother, search in google with the words mods gta ps2 and you may find some forum or tutorial, good luck

Have tested the patch and everything seems fine now! Like all the extra music!!!! :) Must point out though that sometimes a vehicle will change model off in the distance a car might change to another car model, a truck to another truck model, etc. It doesn't happen often though. By the way, I have a dual core 2.8ghz 2gb 8600GT system, so about the same as yours not faster! :)

this is because each 3d model in the game has a low detail version for when its viewed from a long distance and then it changes to a more detailled model when it gets closer, and it seems that some car models use the default low detail models of the original cars, and so they look so different. My PC is a single core 64 bits 2ghz AMD Athlon 3000+ working in 32 bits vista, with 2GB ram and 9600 GT, not so fast as yours, just a bit closer

Downloaded it and you did not tell anybody that it had the super punch for NPC's, you didn't say that you would have lower health and you didn't say the NPC's were harder with bullets can can kill you with 3 shots even when your health is at 100, all you talk about is the graphics! So how am I supposed to get the game back to normal hardness? Get rid of the super NPC's and enjoy the game with just the graphics you kep talking about?!

Oh and the 'Fast' bit.... I don't mind fast cars, but you have the cars going from 0 kph to100kph in about 1cm's! This means you can barely get out of the first safe garage without damaging the car, because by just tapping the 'W' key, you are travelling at 100kph! So the looks are about the only thing I like in your mod! So I guess that' why that is all you talk about - the graphics, and not the gameplay!

i think what you say is exaggerated, maybe some cars are a bit too fast (lamborghinis and ferraris) but most cars have less speed and aceleration. Maybe you have a trouble i'veonly seen in my brother's dual core PC, when he plays vice city the game runs slower than mine and sometimes suddenly it speeds up to 4 times faster for a while and then back to slower mode, i think may be a bug with intel dual cores speed settings with some games.

No. It's only your added cars. What you have done is just speeded them up totally, not making them faster. On all the original cars you get normal acceleration, ie, you can END UP going really fast, but in your fast cars you are going top speed in about 1 metre of travelling!

gta3 is a very old game. you are supposed to have completed the game many times before searching for cheats and mods (don't you think?) and then you already know how to find big weapons and so everything is easier, so nobody cares if it gets a bit harder with some mods. The problem is in gta3 if you edit weapons it affects everyone (players and NPCs) so you have to beat first. i can upload files with superpunch disabled if you want, but you may find street fights equally frustating anyway

I am just saying you don't tell anybody either here on You Tube or even on your blogsite anything but about all the new cars and the graphical side of your mod! I knew absolutely nothing about the fact that his was made Iron Man, I knew nothing about the Super Punch, I knew nothing about the health being lessened. Not because I didn't look, but because you never told anyone!

i named this mod NEW YORK CITY MOD because I changed names of streets and islands to the real ones, of course i also changed the cars and some textures for better ones

lo qu epasa es que no has leido las instrucciones de instalacion, solo has hecho la mitad de la instalacion, ahora descompre la carpeta models y copiala dentro del la carpeta del juego para que sustituya la que ya existe alli y todo se verá perfecto.
