  • apparently some kinda fungus but who really knows

  • Isnt that just a common garter snake. Harmless unless I am wrong about what it is.

  • U mean "garden"? And no it's not, garden snakes r friendly, it wouldn't have tried to bite the camera and there slim, tiny, n SUPER hard to notice.

  • na I am correct. It is a garter snake. Look it up on wikipedia. It is sometimes called a garden, gardner, or garder. Most garter snakes are under 2 ft long but can be as long as 5 ft. I have seen some large ones and have had them try to bite in self defense. That is all this one was doing. It tried to escape first then tried to defend itself. Neat little snake. Harmless little booger.

  • Yes it is garter. I listed in an earlier post an entire list of other common names for the garter snake and garder was among them. Actually when I was a kid I called them gardener snakes. Just another variation of the name of the same snake.

  • @otter46544 yeah when i was a kid i called them gardener to then i was eventually told it was garder and now im told they are called garter =S
