@masterassassin7 I was drunk. What I am saying is that NBC used to be cool in the 1980's and early 1990's. With shows like L.A. Law, Fresh Prince, A-Team, Hunter, and so on. Now, it's infested with crap like Law and Order, then their sister companies own the rights to Jerry Springer, Maury, and then change Sci-Fi into SyFy. That just takes away what the networks were once ago. And no, it's a bad comment.

@jagang31 Son get a clue, I have read the entire series(decent books but nothing great), yes the show is different because that's the point, they wanted to create a Xena/Hercules type of show, they never said they were making an exact copy of the books. Masterpiece series ? Are you on crack ? Tale of two cities is a masterpiece, Great expectations is a masterpiece, The shining is a masterpiece, these books are just average. If you don't like the show than don't watch, nobody is forcing you.

There are many similarities, Zedd is pretty much perfect and Kahlan is very close too. Cara is close enough, yes I wish she was more sarcastic and vicious.

Yes I prefer the books, but I still love the series. So thank you very much I have picked Wizards First Rule up and I'm currently picking up Naked Empire.
