  • Come back to NYC so I can dance.

  • To hear that sound again & see them play it 42 years later is totally Godlike. Damn! these guys had some good ideas swimming around their heads in those days. And it still sounds better than ever to me. Sounds coooool guys. I hope I get to see you you live someday.

  • This is the Sound of San Jose! Baby!

  • Fantastic - great band.

  • uuufffff, que tal voladaaaaaaa por diossss!!!, nunca me imagine que podria haber algun video de éstos grandes. LARGA VIDA A LOS CHOCOLATE WATCHBAND!!!!!

  • b-goober, what happened to your post nine eleven bullshit story? Hurt your feelings about nowhere land? Maybe you live in this shit hole...plastic land defined. I noticed people in real usa flyovers don't even add to the discussion, their fucked

  • Sorry , I don't live in Cali...if there's a "nowhere land", it's the west coast. Saw it off and let them drown.(and thanks for the TWO replies, pothead!!)

  • Hey Goober, where do you live? I've lived in the northeast, south, Colorado, and now SF. Some is OK, most is not OK by me. We were putting down San Jose so why did you get insulted?

  • nice music, even without the theremin

  • Hard to believe man, they come from what is now Silicon Valley, are you fucking kidding! I live here now, its totally yuppie and I-9 nowhere, nothing rocks here

  • Amen to that. The South Bay sucks big time.

  • I'm in NYC on vacation after eight months of living in Santa Clara and Mt View and I'm ready to leave there really soon, it has the cultural aspect of middle america and fascist computer programmer mentality too. It totally sucks. When I found out the watchband were from there I flipped out. And it WAS a hot bed for punk rock groups in the 60's, The country was not corprotized and zombie buttted YET.

  • I hear you. I lived there for 2 years and could not wait to get out of that boring, cookie-cutter, corporate, cultureless wasteland. I finally made the move to SF last month and now life is good again. Oh yeah, I live only 6 blocks from Haight-Ashbury!

  • I'd rather live back in Stamford CT for the rest of my life than live there again. I'm going back Sunday to rent a U Haul. I've had it. You should get into the Black Rebels Motorcycle Club and the Black Angels for some new rock and roll that's as good as CWBand. Silicone Valley is death valley to me.

  • Yes, the valley of nerds and indentured servants working for that elusive Green Card. I'll check out those bands, thanks.

  • Anytime man and please look at the Black Keys too. BRMC are originally from the greater SF bay area too. I will reviewing their show hopefully for the Palo Alto News in Oct. at the waterfront be there buddy.

  • You're one of the cooler responses I've had on the net, keep rockin and be careful in the Haight, could be trouble. Still in the valley possibly till Spring. Nothing to report except they built another McD's on El Camino...what a bunch of smug, a-political wimps

  • typical NYC mentality towards "flyover country"; here's hoping you're on the top floor of the next 9-11.

  • dear goober

sorry pal not into plasticland, internet "self-expression" apparently goes with a price tag, I have to get spammed by mad goobers like you

  • TIM ABBOT (Ca.'67,did'nt record)ON RT. Mark Loomis AMD Bill Flores SOMETIMES PLAY. Ned Torney (VERY early lineup , and 3rd LP-era)did , too , but passed away.Nice guy. Bassist , here , is Alec Palao (Stingrays , Magic Christians , etc.). Pete Curry from Los Straitjackets played drums w/ CWB at least once , then played in early spinoff group , Tingle Guild. When I saw 'em in 99 , it was Dave , Tim , Bill , and drummer Gary Andrijasevich. It's a revolving lineup now.SOUNDS GREAT ,HERE , BTW.

  • Señor Gentleman! so, are these the names of the guys philmed here? (left to right?) who was the astrophysicicst and is he on this here?

do these guys still get groopies and do they drop their linen and proceed to start thier grinnin?

  • It is amazing that the sixties sound can be so tough and still be interesting here in 2007.CWB you guys rock!

  • i believe, this was written after the future Texas (?) astrophysics prof. left the band ... producer wrote it to fill the album w/o a singer

  • 3 are the original, Dave the singer is now a professor of astrophysics when he is not playing with the band. Sean died a few years ago and Mark lost his mind. Too bad cuz he could really play guitar.

  • old ppl rock.

  • Holy crap, I cant believe these guys are touring again. Sweet!

  • The guy to the left looks way too much like the real thing to be one of them anyway :)

  • I'm curious how many of these guys are the original members. They definitely sound like the real thing!
