  • The Enchantress is so beautiful!

  • anyone know what the melody at the beginning is called ??

  • Old disney was wonderful, I think new disney is just crap, some are okay, but others just suck :( Disney also keeps buying all the really good things, like pixar! It's sucky!

  • I love this cuz you get to see him in all is Beauty ugh!!

  • Comment removed

  • First 20 seconds of music is all of my childhood xD I hear it, and I see it! :D

  • I like this better than the regular intro.

  • Wow. I actually like both versions. Why? Because you get to SEE the prince in two ways. The stained glass window AND the cartoon. Same with the transformation. You get to see it in TWO WAYS. I love this video.

  • woah. what is this? did disney remake the beginning or something? definitely going to need some clarification haha

  • @connmusic That was from the sequel to Beauty and the Beast. It's called, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. Honestly, it's not as good as the original, but it's a nice Christmas movie, I'm pretty sure it's available here on YouTube. I hope you enjoy it! :)

  • I love how the expression of the prince they pretty epic ^^ I like it

  • I'm 21 in 16 days.

    Every seconds count from now.

    Pray for me.

  • My version (the old one) is better.

  • @Suzukitamura12 the non stained glass part was from the enchanted christmas one(:

  • im a lil confused where did footage of the prince being on the throne come from because in the original they did not show the prince animated you only saw him in pictures and im very curious as to where that other footage came from because iv never seen that piece of footage from when the prince was on the throne?

  • Some1 please help! I need the monologue of the enchantress. What she said exactly. It's for an audition. Thank you.

  • It was alright :)

  • i think this was so beautiful!

  • Someone needs to give that boy a ass whipping.

  • @MademoiselleAnna LOL! The line starts behind you, right?

  • Sometimes its amazing the types of arguements ppl get into on these sorts of videos. Its just too funny xD

  • Heh... the enchantress is kinda creepy looking if you ask me...

  • What happened to his parents?

  • What's the other movie called please?

  • @000sundancer000 Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas

  • I never did understand why that horrible old hag turned poor Chip into a teacup!!! :-)

  • @000sundancer000 well to be fair, if Chip stayed human and Mrs Potts didn't, well, let's just say it wud be hard for a teapot to raise an 8 year old boy.

  • This is worse than my poo

  • The enchantress is a total ass hat. What did the servants do to deserve this?

  • The enchantress kinda reminds me of the oracle woman from Aladdin

  • i like more the stained glass prologue perhaps making a combination of both...

  • The stained glas version is SO MUCH BETTER

  • There is nothing new about this. The "new" clips are mainly from "Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas," which takes place both a year after Belle's first Christmas and during her first Xmas at the castle. You'll have to watch it to understand. Also, Mrs. Potts is the narrator vs. that random dude. LOL

  • Why did they have to go and redo this. As a child the stained glass drawings felt more sincere and rich with heart than these silly weightless cartoons that spark no imagination.

  • @FredericWatts Well this was only used in the christmas tale of beauty and the beast, so in the original version it is still the same.

  • @MrFutureseer That may be true but there is a new version of the original as well that does not include the old intro, but this one instead. That is, anyone who buys the new beauty and the beast gets this intro. They also added new musicals to it too which I didn't think it needed as well as other graphics.

  • i love how you've but this together! And i must ask...would it be okay if i took the video and put in the swedish audio instead :O if i ever put it on youtube you will get credit for it ofc :)

  • Hideous? I think not. :)

  • The stained glass version is really much better ...

  • And so, if he learned to love another he will get a haircut and grow a new shirt and pants from his flesh.

  • I think they completely cheapened the look of the Enchantress. Its such a shame, she looked 100 times better in the prologue of the first film. What were the animators thinking?? Keep it simple or what? they shouldn't have done that!

  • So...what's the princes name? Prince Beast?? His name was never mentioned in the first film.

  • @twist3dh3at

    his name is adam

  • @twist3dh3at online sources have confirmed that the beast real name is Prince Adam.

  • The reason that on the prologue it talks about his 21st year, and Be Our Guest talks about 10 years is a production discrepancy because of Howard Ashman's untimely death. Be Our Guest was already recorded by the time the stained glass prologue was created, and Howard was dying at the time, so Be Our Guest could not be edited to change and accommodate the prologue. But he's not supposed to be a kid, the directors never liked that idea, even though Howard actually did.

  • 0:25

xDDD I thought he was narrating

    the lip sync is perfect

  • I liked your video. You did a good job of mixing the prologue.

  • 0.22 - what's the name of the movie? Please answer, I havn't seen it and I am dying to do it! :D

  • at the end when the narrator is like "who could ever love a beast" Beasts face is like =.= i know im ugly but jeez man thanks for the hope xD lol

  • @MissKlouny hahahaha!! heck right. XD

  • 3) what sort of enchantress would turn an innocent little kid into a cup?

  • @500krg but it made him immortal did never aged in cup form lol

  • @deder17 immortal but not certain to become human again. poor child, that resembles hell.

  • @500krg what sort of enchantress would turn a whole city into stone?

  • @Wolfgang42m a powerful one, who did that?

  • @500krg "God" in the bible

  • @500krg An enchantress turning a little boy into a cup because of an arrogant man

A god turning a whole city with all citizens to stone and salt because they did not worship him anymore....compare

  • @Wolfgang42m oh really? well those are still legends but I'm afraid reality is not that fair either.

  • 1:26 Mrs Potts goes Marilyn..

  • @UnrealHel hahaha you made my day xD

  • Old version is incomparable.

  • The 11 year old boy has no parents and lives with servants(i doubt they give him the same love as actual parents would) HOW THE HELL DOES THE ENCHANTRESS EXPECT AN 11 YEAR OLD ORPHAN TO HAVE LOVE WITHOUT HIS PARENTS?! The only thing he was doing was following the oldest rule to children: Don't talk to stranger.(Specially old women who offer you a rose in order to live in your castle -.-')

  • @fiestychick123 she taught him that the exterior and material things don't matter, what counts is on the inside and the choices a person makes. The arguments you make are so bland and just annoying, they are all over youtube. Okay we get it, but do you see what the enchantress was trying to achieve with the prince?

  • "Once upon a time in a far away land..."

I didn't think France was that far away.

  • Completely ruins the original intro/movie

  • @deedeeke1991 it does. the original made it seem more like an ancient tale than just a regular intro.

  • I love the trailer, it shows you a part that happens in the film, but a full movie on freeFcartoons F.uFs (delete F) shows you everything!

  • Man, you can absolutely tell which clips come from where...the Beast is off model in every single shot from that darn Christmas special.

  • this animation is like lilo and stitch serie

  • That witch was pretty harsh, what did the servants do against her?

  • @toychristopher Yeah, not to mention the prince was, like, 10 or 11 when he turned her away. Just because he's a spoiled brat doesn't mean "there's no love in his heart". D:

  • this is no a new version of the prologue, its a mix between the first one and images of the second one where they explain how he became the beast ...

  • the animation of this version is so sharp and lacking in artistic smoothness. I miss the olden days of animation.

  • is it just me or does it seem like they are talking about Prince Vegeta?

  • 1) that sorceress is a douche. a) what, does she just go around testing ppl to see if they have "love in their heart", and cursing ppl all of the time? she's trolling. b)why would she curse an 11 yr old?!

    2) wth was he prince of? was no one concerned when he disappeared?

  • @mcamurray It would make more sense if he was older...i agree

  • @mcamurray he wasnt 11 he was about 17 cause it says 21 that means he would have to wait about 4 years not really sure but he dont look 11 when he was curse but im not really sure but i dont think he was cruse at 11 maybe around 14 to 17 maybe?????

  • @murdocslover97 during the song "be our guest", the candle sings “10 years we’ve been rusting…” the servants were turned into household items (more evidence that this sorceress is an asshole... wth did the servants do to her?!) at the same time the "prince" became a beast. his 21st bday was coming up (hence, he rose dying). if he and his servants had this spell put on them 10 yrs ago, and he's about to turn 21, that would mean he was 11 when the curse was put on him.

  • Comment removed

  • @murdocslover97 this intro wasn't in the original movie. i believe the christmas special, which came out a few yrs after the movie, showed the scenes from this intro. the fact that he looks so old is more of a continuity issue, than proof that he was actually that old.

in any case, it's really not that big of a deal. certainly nothing to be going back and forth about.

  • @mcamurray i know but i love the frist one

  • @mcamurray you're pretty stupid and an example of modern day stupidity

honestly the enchantress would probably turn you into a beast for being so stupid and uneducated

  • @RKOyou uhh.... okay.

i didn't realize people felt so strongly about disney cartoons.

  • @mcamurray well I hate smark remarks about the movies too

    sorry for being harsh

  • @RKOyou i'll try to remember to not be "smark" anymore.

  • @mcamurray If she hadn't then their wouldn't have been a story sooo haha

  • @mcamurray

She is just a wicked old hag : / How can she "Punish" him for having no love in his heart? It's not like he can actually do something about it, forced love? That's bad!

  • @mcamurray

And also why did she have to "Punish" the 500 other people living in the caste!? Including the 4 year old boy and a totally innocent dog! What could they possible deserve "Punishment" for?

I Say, Burn the Wicked Witch!

  • @zimstinka i'm starting to think she robbed them and brainwashed everyone in the castle into believing this silly story.

  • @mcamurray

That makes more sense then the story ;p. If he was a prince he would have a country right? Without something you can't be a prince. It only makes sense that she upsurped the kingdom and is now queen of France.

  • @mcamurray It's kinda their fault for making him end up like this.

  • @mcamurray what can you know about the sorceress? She would may know he could find a love if he where put in search of it... People sometime need to be convinced of here conditions... and test him helped he to be ashamed and to find a solution exposing here fault, giving here the motivation, and too a last chance... What we may know... she probably would be omnicient or sufciently able to see one's future... In my view she was a blessing in here life...

  • @farlensia It's one thing to teach someone a lesson, and another to use body horror to traumatize someone. Not to mention blatantly abusing her power; that's like if a police officer was like, "Let me in, I have a flat tire" & arresting you for saying no. #1, how'd you get here? #2, don't you have the right to not allow people into your own home? What she punished him for was a *moral* crime. For being a dick, he lost like 10 years of his humanity...not to mention the innocent staff who lost too

  • @vidaliadear I believe that it is to see, outside of our moral realism (which I personally believe to be frustrating and buggy, to say very individualistic) to begin with, these entities have surreal property, trying to get in a surreal way, a deeper lesson ... See, what Adam does with his servants for example, would be a injury crime in my country

  • @vidaliadear In the real world, no one could fix a person so arrogant with kisses hugs, and from there the thing would go from bad to worse, we would have a bad movie about a cruel prince that every daybecome worse, if life, or someone far more cruel, do not conflict with it. And I could not have seen it in my childhood.

  • @farlensia The surrealism of the film is lighter, has a happy ending plausible for entities that Abit and it has a lesson for each of us that we should not be like Adam, for the sake of others and for our good. And the sorceress... in real world are not so kind other thinks in life...

  • @farlensia This argument is a lot like the "beating/spanking a child is the best way to discipline them"; people learn from their mistakes in different ways. Just b/c some ways might be more challenging or difficult to find is no reason to resort to extremes, or worse, to adopt extremes as a method for everyone. Like I said before, she DISFIGURED his body as PUNISHMENT - though most kids wouldn't realize it. Physical punishment for moral crime was crudely efficient; why not curse him w/empathy?

  • @vidaliadear I really really dont undestend what your trying to see... Adam is the authority in the Castle. there wasnt any other power figure in his life to help in a way to here very best... No mother, no Father... And now he control something he dont have maturity to do, a castle (remember me Britney... etc) In real world it really wouldnt be nothing beter... And we have some answers of possible problems in for example, Fortes, that would conflict more and more with Adam.

  • @vidaliadear the movie wasnt cruel... The sorceress isnt representation of fathers(like you appear to se)... And we cant compare she to a normal human acting in ours life, because we dont have magic power, dont predict thinks to appear in a mystic way exactly in a castle with a arrogant prince. And correct things in the realy last rose Patel.

  • @farlensia I never said anything about fathers. The sorceress actually abused her power BECAUSE she's magic; obviously, he wouldn't be able to resist her. But magic is just an allegory for things in the natural world. Magic is power, for life or destruction, depending on who uses it.

I'm also going to go out on a limb and guess that English isn't your first language, which can make debating tricky

  • @vidaliadear I dont se the sorcerer as a possible allegory to any kind of natural think near to human. She wasnt represented like a creature possible of failures, and then, really far from humans at any level of power and really far from human judgment.

You appear to see the sorceress like parents to me, because you make reference to the way to treat an child to discipline them, but there isnt much proximity in that cases because we are not talking about a family, parents and child.

  • @farlensia Parents aren't the only people capable of teaching a child right from wrong. Sorceresses, fairies, wizards, and witches have emotions and are not omnipotent or omniscient. Fairytale characters *are* allegories for human emotions & actions - I suppose I've the leg up on that since British literature was my major in university. The sorceress is as essentially human as Greek gods that have power 'far beyond human judgment' - they still act like assholes, even if they can't be punished.

  • @mcamurray you maintain the "royalty", be your country a monarchy or not more... Its know here mother go to a war and never come back, and here father died... in such years... they would believe he was murdered... the castle was so abandoned upon the course and the rose was enchanted to last a lot of years... and isnt convenient to the sorceress they would still know he is a prince... so can be a side extra efect of the course too...

  • @mcamurray

Maybe she was just passing through and wanted to act as a normal person. You've also got to give the beast the credit he deserves. This was a frail old lady he saw who just wanted shelter from weather that could kill a normal person. He should have let her in for nothing but he turned her away twice. What a CRUEL person is the only thing I can say about him.

  • @Clestea ... he was eleven. preteens arent exactly known for being the most empathetic people in the world. what grown woman asks a child if they can sleep over anyway? pedo much?

  • @mcamurray maybe she knew he was a little nasty.

  • @mcamurray Haha, you just made my life! I totally agree with you!

  • Cool!

  • This is amazing! ^^ lovely job!

  • good

  • I prefer the stained glass version :D

  • These are scenes from Beauty and the Beast 2: The Enchanted Christmas

  • I'm wondering what happened to the Enchantress during the movie?

  • @codafett she was eaten by Gaston... You know, like those 5 dozens eggs :P

  • @codafett ive always thought that

  • Placing narration over characters who are speaking is generally not a good rule of thumb; it makes it look as though the characters are speaking the narration themselves. Just a tip for future video editing.

  • "Beautiful enchantress"?? Not really...

  • @ImLothLuin That bit with her looks like it was done by a crappy studio. I think she's really pretty in the stained glass window, though.

  • @xXRubella666Xx

They made this at DIsney Toronto, back during the roughly ten minutes it existed. Now Canada just exports its animators.

  • Did anyone notice that the prince in that time was younger than after (when he was changed back into a human), but all people didn't get older?

  • I prefer the original version. The stained glass was way more epic feeling. :P But this is cool too I guess. ^^

  • Who narrated this part? I recognize that voice.

  • @stewban007 David Ogden Stiers who also voiced Cogsworth. He also did many other voices, appeared in several TV show and movies. If you look him up on wikipedia, maybe you'll find what seemed familiar to you.

  • In the story it says that no one could love a beast

but in this world everyone says that the beast is hotter than the prince

  • Belle...it's me.

    Change back ._.

  • This is no new version of the first movie. It's the second, the chrismas one.

  • I remember my Father took my little brother and I to see this!

  • the old version is much better

  • wow the animation is really really awful I mean the beauty and the beast is a beautiful

film with wonderful graphics! but that... but this this is just yerk!

Why do the have to redo the intro????

  • i.....LOVE IT! 5/5!

  • There's something more charming about the stained-glass narrative in the original B&tB opening. The "Catholic church-like" reliefs / cut glass gives the Disney movie that hint of fine art it needed among other things to make the film really special. Also, I prefer the original (even though I know this was just for fun), because the windows give it that timelessness of other Disney classics that opened with those ornate books / pages like Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty among others.

  • @rushprods well said. ;D

  • Yea, the newer version looks... I dunno, like a child's done, more child friendly in a way . . . The original's much, much better

  • old version is WAY better

  • where are this little brats parents? also, yay for beastiality. 10 points to disney!

  • @ChristinaD612 His parents are dead.

  • Beggar woman is Quasimodo's real mother.

  • @TheBestKindOfFailure, LMFAO. XD

  • OMG.I'd tap the Prince :|

  • i got really scared w/ the prologue of this wen i was a child...... the narrator is gud at tellin stories but.......im being freaked by his voice.....its like he is so serious w/ storytelling

  • @cerealkillerpsycho does he even look eleven years old though? i'm thinking disney is making some serious inconsistencies in the appearances of prepubescent boys.

  • @SilverHeart44

Wasn't it Disney that made Snow White 14? Ariel was 16. They're not known for drawing people to look their ages.

  • Okay , soo disnye srsly fucked up prince adam in human form >> oh god DX

    but heyyy he's a sexy BEAST <3

not into beasteality but damn he looks better that way lol 1

Come on Disney !!! he looked better in human form in the 1st movie lol

  • Old version was better. But ain't it interesting he's scoffing at a book, and then ends up with like the queen of books?

  • I diffidently wouldn't want to be near a bratty 11 year old boy who just turned into a super strong ferocious beast >.>

  • @katiecuddlefish i agree !!!!!!!

  • I think you better change the description and say that it's "fan-made". For some stupid reason, people think it's the real deal.

  • @Myopia01 You're amazing, Thank you!!

  • @cerealkillerpsycho actually id say that hes like 16-17 in this. Animation has a way of making a 20 year old look fifteen.

  • @yuri1ishtar No, he really IS eleven. In the movie it is said that ten years have passed since the enchantress cast the spell, and since Beast mets Belle just before his 21th birthday - well it all points to the fact, she turned a little boy into a Beast.

I guess people at Disney aren't very good at math xD

  • @Leenarietto No. You dont understand. if you think about it the right way the math is perfect. Its eleven in DOG YEARS. LOLZ. that means its been 53 years betwen when he was turned into a beast and he met bell.

  • @cerealkillerpsycho Things were different then, as early as 15 he could have been a full ruler, so yeah imagine that guy having absolute power without an attitude adjustment. I say he deserved the tough love, plus without it we'd never have this great story. :3

  • I like the original because it keeps everything mysterious and enchanting. In this version all the mystery is stolen away because you see Beast in the first three minutes.

  • @cerealkillerpsycho most kids doesnt own a castle+ 100's of servant though-

  • Man he is stupid! How did he not see this coming the second time! GOD

  • I love the Prologue music !!!! I wish there was an instrumental version without the narrator...

  • @lovelycelticopera Me too!It's such a lovely tune...

  • @lovelycelticoperaHave fun with this: youtube.com/watch?v=cCRU9GjbGfM !!!!

  • I know it's blasphemous to question Disney but how come nobody else aged while he gained 10 years? Is that just the enchantress' way of saying "sorry for turning you into an inanimate object for 10 years cause of your master, i'll let you look 10 years younger than you actually are trololol"?

  • @linlovesthedoctor since he was turned into a living being, and they were turned inanimate objects, wouldn't it only make sense that time worked for him and not for them?

  • I prefer the old version and thumbs up if the beast is hotter than the prince :D

  • @TonjeMariEngen I agree, I personally prefer the original.

  • @TonjeMariEngen Wow... I think we all just learned your liking for beastiality.

  • @yuri1ishtar I'd like to quote Lady Gaga: "Show me your teeth" :)

  • @TonjeMariEngen sorry I'm not into bestiality, and the prince is really hot ( IMO). :D

  • @TonjeMariEngen I hope you mean due to his personality... Not "figure" ? =P

  • @lauramax93 *giggles* What's wrong with prefering the Beast? I'd much rather have the Beast as my pet than the human as my husband or whatever. Obviously, I'm not alone ;)

  • @TonjeMariEngen Well those are both MUCH better options than Beast as a husband

If you had beast/animal tendencies I would refer a good therapist xP

  • @lauramax93 :D Thanks for caring xP
