A night of classic music on vinyl made popular at the Loft and The Paradise Garage. 99prince84king@gmail.com
A few years ago, Steve "Silk" Hurley remixed this song with a more contemporary one on the Tom Joyner Morning Show for the "Old-Skool/New-Skool Remix" (I don't remember the song it was mixed with) and it was totally hot! I wish I could find that mix!
back when pop (as in popular) music were good. i hate to sound like a cynic, but really.. i love electronic music, but that awful crossover between electro house and talentless singers has just been poluting the airwaves way too long. not to mention the "r'n'b" they play on the radio
Love it! There's nothing quite like being in a seedy old gay bar with a glass of Budwieser and a cigarette listening to this song. Brings back memories. Sing it sista!
They play this in Geriatrics wards in Hospitals and in rest homes to get the old folks moving and having sex... its the song for 80 year olds and plus to get their freak on.

@imunchbutts Short fad? Here it is over 30 years later and more than 36,000 people are still looking up Alicia Bridge's "I Love the Nightlife" That's quite a "fad"....
@mrob75 Yeah, because 36,000 views in 2 years proves disco is still alive and bumping. Considering we have 300,000,000 people in the US alone means the majority of people still listen to disco.
@imunchbutts Disco was and has always been way more popular in Europe than in the States. In fact, discos over here are mainly for teenagers 16+ years old. In the States, they were for the 21+ set. Today's disco is more of a techno-crossover.
