Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Automator & Alex

Alex talks as if he is nervous. It makes him stumble on certain words, and it becomes hard to understand him at times. Microsoft Mike and Mary sounded way better than this, and they are much older than Alex. Mike is actually the best of the text to speech voices i have ever used. Microsoft Mike talks like a smart person dealing with serious business and wanting attention. Alex talks as if he has stage fright. Is there a way in which i can get microsoft mike and mary on to the Mac?

no its leopard, a year before WWDC 2007 there was no new dock and refurbished windows. this is probably the developer preview that the developers got their hands on first to beta test and give feedback to apple

That is the voice also used in the VoiceOver screen reader for computer users with low or no vision and it has received a lot of praise within the blind community I believe. There's also a list called Mac Visionaries which is a list of Mac users & switchers who are blind getting tips from one another. :)

it's not 10.5 it's 10.4, in 10.5 apple logo is black, and here the logo color is light blue(something like that)

Thats his video capture program. Usually, when you record all your stuff, it tends to slow the video down a little bit. YouTube doesn't help either since it cuts frames in half making things look bad.

It's not that hard to get Leopard if you know the ins and outs of the internet... I don't work for Apple, and this is my computer, MacBook Intel Core Duo :)

i dont use mac but what i have seen of it, leopard does not seem much different form the current version tiger. they have just added time machine and some new software. it would be easier to just do some software updates and downlaods. no need for a whole new version. tell me if im wrong. dont no much about mac

Time Machine? There are already a ton of FREE back up solutions out here for OS X. I don't want my system trying to outsmart me by filling up my hard drive with stuff that I actually want to delete. I'm not stupid, if I delete something it's because I want it gone. The first thing I do when I get Leopard is deactivate Time Machine.

Tabbed chatting? I use AdiumX which has had tabbed chatting for years.

Writing a widget? I have no need to this.

Also, most backup solutions for the mac fail because they don't properly handle resource forks and/or the special metadata used by OS X. The only one that doesn't is SuperDuper!
