Kennedy or any assassination in history will do. If you have ever been in school, you would know what I'm talking about. They may not be the freedom fighting assassins in the game, but they do exist.

You are right about Templars though. There's even Templars here where I live.

Assassins did exist though, and they were good at it. They spent years training for one mission to become a master of disguise. They would get close to the target and wait for the order to take him out if he started attacking their city or something. If you...didn't know that. Heh...*inches away*

This game is sort of an extra in the series and is not part of the main series (Assassins Creed 1&2) since it stems off of Assassins Creed 2 they would have to use Ezio. And Ubisoft said they would use a different character for every main series game. Also i think a chick assassin would be awesome in Assassins Creed 3.
