@Brinnerstark lol i love that movie as well, but i think you will find this quite enjoyable too. It's a lot more serious, i think, than Pride and Prejudice and much more intent on the story of each character's personal journey than the love stories within it, but it is equally gratifying. i love both.

I watched all episodes today and it is amazing. Elinor is so beautiful. And I love how they captured Austen's explanations of the silliness of some of girls' lifestyles. Made me hit my forehead a few times and scream "No! You stupid girl!"

My God. We need a Jane Austen to write about society nowadays to mock and reveal the ways of our generations.

This is a tad better than the Emma Thompson's version because I liked the selected actors and actresses as well as the length where it shows more of the back story. All in all, I love them both. :)

My second favorite of all the Jane Austen movies. Personally I like the Emma Thompson version better. I saw this on holiday. It was so much fun, but it was late at night so who knows if I saw the whole thing. Everything looks much better on Youtube. jk I have always wanted to climb up on a hill like that in the wind and rain and look out in the distance crying over my boyfriend. Which is why I probably like that version so much because this one has the overly dramatic fall. It is good though.

I like this one MUCH better. Maybe because you don't know the people playing the characters, it makes them come to life more. I absolutely adore this version and watch it every few months. I also own the movie with Emma Thompson but just don't like it as much. This one is 4 hours long so you get more of a backstory.

this is the best adaptation of Sense and Sensibility by far! Love it! does anyone happen to know what song is playing about half way through to the end? its really pretty!
