what is the rear view camera's small silver device? im planing to buy the P5200BT and want to install a camera too, but the pioneer camera doesnt have LED lights for night as for as i searched. i really want to link both which are a camera and back shift. if i use a cheaper night rear view camera, does it work and link with the deck monitor and stick? help me!!!!!!pioneerMobile

I just bought the MVH-P8200BT. I'm having a problem getting the album art to show up. Any way to troubleshoot this problem? I have all the artwork for all my music loaded on my iPod.

I've had one of these for a while now and I was wondering. Will it play VIDEO files from a USB Drive? If so, what video formats work from the USB Drive? I tried some (.avi) files, but with no success. It brings up a "unreadable file" message on the screen. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

GOD FORBID one of these manufacturers develops a headunit that can extract album art off MP3s that ARENT on iPods -- why can't any of these display my album art off CD/USB? Shove your Bluetooth and HD Radio, I just want to burn my MP3s to a CD and actually have it display my art.

Where can i get the plastic surround bit that goes around the edge of the unit? Mine didnt come with one (AVH P4200DVD) and there is a gap between the player and the dash.

What format avi\divx size, bit rate etc.. is needed for video to work off SD card? I have the divx\avi file on sd card, and can hear audio but no video. Just got this and love it, but can't get video to work from SD card. music works great though.

I installed the MVH-P8200BT a week ago, and love it. It DOES support

SDHC cards, as I just tested a 4GB one. Agreed that the iPod control

thru the multi-controller is not optimal, but I am a "shuffle all" kind of

guy. I like the flexibility to use a USB memory stick too. The colour

illumination options are awesome, as I now match my dash lighting.

The graphic equalizer allows for much better audio control than just

having bass and treble only. Bottom line - this was worth the wait!

i recently installed avh-p42000 dvd in my truck. the thing is when i turn it off the button lights in the bottom still stay on!! is their a way to turn them off? or did i connect something wrong?anyone know.

I bought the MVH-P8200 and it is not user Ipod friendly at all. U cant use the remote to scroll through your ipod playlists. You have to keep using the dial on the reciever to do that. Also...I have tried to play Video from my Ipod on the Reciever and it plays the audio but not the video. I am totally dissapointed with this pruchase. I expected alot more from Pioneer. There goes 300 bucks that I cant get back,

So whats the US release date on the Pioneer MVH-P8200? The kenwood unit with same features is coming out May 10th is it before or after right now Its a toss up.

Considering Amazon has the Pioneer MVH-P8200 for 280 and the AVH-3200 for 320 for 40 bucks I might as well just get the full din with dvd player. But I dont need the dvd player or video play back considering its going in REG cab silverado but for 40 bucks why not?

The MVH-series does not include a disc drive. It is designed for those who have fully migrated to digital music with an iPod or iPhone.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would have loved to see it have cd compaitibility, kinda the same concept as the PS3 having its backwards compatibility, you just know its available and there for when you do need it even though most of us really have made the full or almost full switch to digital music.
