  • iiThink making bats looks cool!

  • so easy

  • Good job. Regosports

  • presspass my msn in profile! Akadema Shows You How A Baseball Bat Is Made

  • MADE IN USA!!!!!!

  • Ummm, in this episode, the gentleman making the bats for Akadema should be wearing safety glasses per OSHA. Just looking out for ya man. Hate to see you get a violation for safety. Just look at ALL the saw dust. By the way, great ball gloves. My son owned one while he played for years. Looks as good as the first day we bought it. He played every game with it. Rain and Heat.

  • Hey super fan, should spend less time worrying about this type of content for players and more on if they are going to raise hotdog prices at the stadium. I use Akadema in college and I know they are the only company making baseball gloves (Patriot Series), wood bats and aluminum bats in the US. News flash...You should double check your facts.

  • they mentioned all the stuff being US made, and basically showed a wooden bat being created...news flash, RAWLINGS and LOUISVILLE SLUGGER are both 100% American made.

  • @Thundering24 Rawlings stuff is made in the Philippines

  • you clearly have no personal attachment to these countries. As I wrote and I am 100% correct about, the wooden bats are made in the USA...and if you need more specifics, they are from the Mountain range in upper New York State - where production also happens. I've personally been there and made them. I've also got two friends who make bats for Louisville Slugger...also USA made. Good try though.

  • Then what I meant to say was that Rawlings GLOVES are made in the Philippines. I wasn't trying to prove you wrong. So there's no need to write a speech about it. And the gloves have a tag that says, "Made in the Philippines." So don't even try with that one.

  • I made if quite clear I was discussing WOODEN BATS, so good eye kid. If you are going off topic and discussing gloves, balls, etc, NO company (yes literally none) in the USA make all of their products only in the USA when it comes to Baseball Sporting Goods Manufacturers.

  • our hs team was sponsored by akadema and it was complete shit, the bags ripped and the zippers fell off, the bats broke all the time with no pop at all, cheap asses wouldnt give us gloves, the only decent thing they make

  • anyone know what kind of paint that is?

and possibly what they use for aluminum bats?

  • I'd rather wait for a craftsman to create a bat and chisel each bat by hand (Like the one that they showed on 'How It's Made') than buy one of these :S

  • rawlings big stick is a good one

  • amazing

  • These are by far the worst wood bats I have ever used. They have absolutely no POP!!!! I would advise anyone to not buy their bats

  • my glove at :33

  • chris ianetta is a graduate of st raphael academy..im a JV sophomore there now lol

  • LMFAO & you belieaved that bull shit ??

  • nj mariners 15u s the best team in nj for 15

  • i make my own bats

but they break alot so i dont use them in games

  • how do u make them yourself?

  • @hightstownhyphy you can bone the bat to make it harder to break, it condenses the fibers making it stronger and also can hit farther, ted williams did this and any smart ball player should, you can take a glass bottle or a marrow bone and "bone" it just rub it up and down alot and it will create more pop and wont break as easily. The "natural' did this thats why his bat never had any blemishes

  • @TheCoolguynamedbrady it doesnt stop it from breaking- bats break on the handle.....

boning ash gives it the hardness of maple minus the added weight

  • And the NJ Mariners practice ther which is a great team and a good place to be....but i play for the Teel Ravens, and they are a better organization overall in my opinion

  • That baseball academy is a street behind me and i go ther everyday for 2 hours and hit and do watever...and everything i have is Akadema and i reccomend ther stuff....its very good and doesnt break or tear on gloves, wood bats last but are a little over priced but overall its very good, the baseball academy has really good instructors...akadema is the organization to buy ur equipment

  • If you broke 4 akadema bats .how the fuck do you miss that kind of bat ?sounds like a shit bat to me .i like nokona bats and max bats

  • The Custom Made apparel is the one from my school. they sponser us , Those are our jackets they aremakingright there

    GW

  • kewl kool kl cool xp xD xo Xl

  • i miss my akadema bats. i broke all 4 in a month of playing haha

  • nice

  • cool
