The table you're looking at IS the music player. Manipulation of the blocks and the table creates the music in real time. It's called the Reactable and it costs like $15,000. LOL

Its awsome! I have a urgent need for that thing!

But its not a synthesizer, its a sequencer. It recognizes the shapes of the cubes, and triggers the right samples, loops or synths. It also recognizes the movements, and sends the signals to a mixer, or what ever is connectet to it.

I think most peoples trigger a second sequencer with it, like ableton live.

This is great! The secret is that they're not twiddling too many things at once like the basic all-in-two-minutes ReacTable demos. Those are just a mess.  We need people trained in this new way to make music, a new musical ecology...
