To prevent algae in your pool try a product called Frog BAM. Works great! Provides 90 days of algae protection

Do filters need some kind of regular cleaning or anything, apart from backwash and rinse? And how long do they last before they need to be replaced? we only use our pool for about a month in the year. Thanks
