Williams flubs an arpegio at 1:50. He's human after all!!
Other than that, all three movements from this performence are just flawless. I still like Yepes' Aranjuez the best. But Williams is a brilliant interpreter and a disciplinary God. Instead of watching his face, watch his technique and listen up.
I dont why people Dislike John william's playing so much. He is a legend.. He studied under Andres segovia . Any one who Doubts williams is actualy doubting Maestro Segovia
No, it makes sense. He's saying that musically, Segovia is superior to his guitar, which Williams studied as a kid, which was superior to The guitar of Segovia as a kid.
john williams is one of the greatest classical guitarists in the world. The "un-educated ears" cannot understand...just like the un-spirited...cannot understand the things of the spirit. "massive big up to John williams"

His playing differs hugely from Segovia's- he never studied directly under him, he just played for him as a kid.
Williams is a far superior guitarist (notice- I say guitarist, not musician) to Segovia, whatever you think about both players' senses of musicality.
