This is my dad's favorite christmas song ever. We used to be in the livingroom for hours singing that song while I tried to memorize it. Dolly Parton, in my objective opinion, is one of the greatest singers of all time. In my personal, more emotional opinion, she's one of the greatest singers of all time. The woman is something special, that's for sure. And I'm a straight man saying this. lol

I love this song....every word of it fits me right now!!!! And why do certain ppl waste their time to post a negative comment on a song they dont like, that just makes you look stupid and obviously have nothing better to do, but I love this one DOLLY! :)

Just because a song has the word Christmas in it does not make it a "Christmas song". It`s from a movie about WHORES who now have to leave their WHOREHOUSE because they got shut down.
Radio stations do the same thing...you never hear this song on the radio except for the Christmas season. Just plain dumb!....but a great song none the less

This is my dad's favorite christmas song ever. We used to be in the livingroom for hours singing that song while I tried to memorize it. It drove my mom crazy. :) My dad is now in Germany and will be deploying to Afganistan in January. Please keep all soldiers in mind and remember the ones who are not with their families. I keep this song close to me in rememberance of him. :) :) :) :) I love this song!

This Christmas I don't have my Mom,,,,,,we loved this song,,,,,,,,,,but I will try to be fine and remember the fun that Mom and I had singing this song on our way to the Mall to shop at Christmas time. Of course I will always cry when I hear "Hard Candy Christmas" Thank you Dolly for your beautiful voice.
