Had to revisit a favorite of mine - commented about a year ago on the beauty of this brilliant cover - it still resonates and soothes the soul after an "alone" day - you know, some days you just want to be alone because sometimes things are just stressful (if it wasn't for the stress, we would appreciate the care-free days). Great Job!!!, For those that don't know, Robbie Robertson(Who wrote this beautiful song) is Native American hence broken arrow, bottle of rain. The song is about his true love, but all he has to offer is real love not material things because of his background .

He can give her Real love, whereas the other guy can only give material things...

You may want to try to record the guitar and sing separately... Great singers can really extend their voices when they are not busy trying to keep rhythm on a guitar.. Great playing though!

hey babe the song is by robbie robertson and it is by far the better version. Why hollywood does this cover crap is beyond me. they did it in Cars movie with "life is a highway". my favorites clear it up.
