These two were apart on this issue, but managed to debate it without personally attacking each other or letting their politics get in the way. And they finished off with an agreement to look into what Cain was saying.

How does the introduction of a new tax/regulation allow a business to raise prices? It simply doesn't. To be honest, most businesses will already have prices at the maximum point of profit. The addition of a new tax/regulation will not somehow allow businesses to pass on this price to the consumer.
