I have never understood why JWs aren't required to follow Kosher dietry restrictions ( meat that is completey removed of blood ). I do understand when Paul said things that are unclean ( pork, shellfish ) are OK now, but it still must be prepared in accordance with Kosher dietry restrictions.

dubbeltid typical jw moron.When you drink alcohol it is absorbed directly into the blood stream so your analogy is bunk.And then your further your own idiocy by saying that eating blood and have a blood transfusion are the same...eating blood orally is digested in the stomach, lower intestine....etc...etc..the same as eating any food. Blood from a transfusion stays in the circulatory system....it's really an organ transplant.But you would know that if you did some independent reasearch.Can you?

* There is alot of blood free great treatments. If you take blood even from tested blood you might get HiV.

* If someone tells you not to drink alcohol ? Would you have it injected in youre veins ? Nope. Then why blood when the bible says you cant eat it ?

Issues like this disgust me, I mean the Witnesses insist that a lot of things in the Bible are metaphorical, so why shouldn't that scripture in Acts about abstaining from blood actually mean not to kill people? I mean if there's no way of knowing for sure should you really risk your life on it when there could be many right interpretations of one scripture?

I feel for all people who die u jw rule I fee especially for the two new born twins born in shropshire who could of surivied if the judical courts could off acted sooner the children got blood but still died but because the children had a blood tranfusion the family disowned any involement with the child funerals poor children a christan church had too bury the children back to god may they rest in peace

Yes, and who is man to say what God thinks as far as acceptions? They say they are not the prophet...then in print they say they are (the watchtower society) and then they go and make comments indicate they are speaking for God...which is it? Who's on first?
