call me a pussy if you want but everytime i listen to this song i tear up a little, its for kirst and dave, but at the same time a feel like in a way its kind of the whole band saying goodbye to each other, it kinda makes you think of all the great music they created, and those slowly played chords by josh just makes it so much sadder

Why did they have to break up before I was old enough to appreciate them? Can someone explain why all the good bands where long gone before I was old enough? All I've got in my era is 1,000,000,000 guys 1 haircut and the same music :/ can anyone recomend more like this and failure?

I know what you mean. Back in the day when artists died or stopped playing, there popped up new bands to keep the tendancies of awesome music going (Like with Jimi Hendrix and then The doors). Queens of the Stone Age rose from the ashes of Kyuss, but I don't think after QotSA there'll be a new band to take the banner. It saddens me that we're left with Kings of Leon and crap bands like that
