Of course they could run together, and inevitably there would be compromises, but that's how politics works. America would come out better in the end supporting its constitution, getting out of rich men's wars, and looking out for the equality of opportunity for all of its citizens.
Dennis is out, and Paul won't get the nomination, so I say: GET RID OF THE OUTDATED AND USELESS ELECTORAL COLLEGE!
a paul/kucinich ticket would be absurdly non-functional. ron paul has tried to pass legislature to abolish minimum wage, to prevent gov't contracted employees from getting prevailing wage, and he's tried to make it easier to decertify unions.
kucinich is pro-union, and very much an fdr-styled democrat (what with the whole new deal policies he's proposing).
this pairing is fundamentally impossible. to put it bluntly, ron paul is a "scab" and union guys don't deal with scabs.
a paul/kucinich ticket would be absurdly non-functional. ron paul has tried to pass legislature to abolish minimum wage, to prevent gov't contracted employees from getting prevailing wage, and he's tried to make it easier to decertify unions.
But the minimum wage is hurting people, because of the scam called the federal reserve.
i'm in. i'm a "democrat," technically, but that would take as many votes away from the standard-bullshit republican nominee as it would the standard-bullshit democratic nominee. btw, i think mick huckabee is fucking crazy with his idea about victims of AIDs being isolated and Jesus sanctioning the death penalty. and i think obama/clinton/edwards obviously have no intention of gettin out of iraq
I want to see Dennis and Ron Paul do it together forget the party lines. We are going to need them both to fix the BIG mess Bush has made. My heart says Ron P. and Dennis K. I dont care what order we need them both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great idea! I think these two are honest enough and concerned enough about the American people, that they would be able to come to a unified compromise on most issues. I think we should all put pressure on them both to separate from their parties right after the primaries and work together! THEY COULD DO IT! And WE could get them elected!
"Dr." Ron Paul's healthplan doesn't give a DAMN about the middle class, nor the poor...YET, he WILL ensure that drug companies NOT be liable for FALSELY advertising their products for SAFETY & EFFECTIVENESS!?! AND, in addition to THAT, he'll END all governmental medical research (that helps find cures, treatments, & vaccines for the sick!?!?! A "Kucinich/Dodd" ticket is the only way to go!!!
I appreciate everyones comments...but this video was done tongue in cheek for the last YouTube debate. It's interesting how many people like the idea though. I'm a Ron Paul guy all the way...but on the Democratic side...I like Kucinich and Gravel.
Personally, I would love to see the 2008 Presidential Election come down to Dennis Kucinich against Ron Paul ... either way, a good man will come to the Oval Office.
There is a strategy that can totally destroy the neo-con world conquest agenda. It should not be Kucinich or Ron Paul it should be Kucinch and Ron Paul. But how do you do that when they are on opposing political parties and opposing political viewpoints. Kucinich is a Socialist (which is ok) and Ron Paul is a libertarian (less government the better). Quite frankly I could live with ether.
What's important to me is having a man in the white house that is not a prostitute to the Neo-Con Zionnazis, who are planning war with Iran and World War Three.
Without going into a long dissertation. We must do all in our power to put these two men into the spotlight and exclude the rest of the compromising ass-kissers. The best way this can be accomplished is by organizing Ron Paul / Dennis Kucinich debates to take place at the primaries in the state where they take place.
If the state controlled media CNN/FOX does not cover these debates, they will still make there way to YouTube and Google, something the Zionnazis didn't plan for. The most important thing we must all try as hard as we can to accomplish is to convince these two just men to commit to each other, that who ever becomes president will pick the other as vice president. Can an extreme right-winger join forces with an extreme left-winger? In this rare instance I think it is possible.
In America everything used to be possible before "they" shot Kennedy. We were able to put men on the moon! We should not be so paralyzed as a nation to not be able to put a Republican and a Democrat into the Whitehouse at the same time! America we can do what ever we want!
If we want our country back from the "masters of deception" we must be bold in our thinking and approach! Kucinch/Paul or Paul/Kucinich I don't care which comes before the other as long as they are together. The Republican and Democratic parties both have screwed us, now it's time to screw them! Wake up America, no wars for oil or Israel!
Makes no sense to me that you say you are against Socialists, and yet you are for Liberty, Freedom, and Life, for certainly so are Socialists, so possibly you are a closeted one.
Socialist force people to give away a part of their income for all sorts of governmentstuff like universal healthcare. That's called a direct tax.
The problem is the forcing. Forcing means that you don't respect the person's life, that you don't give him the right to his own live and fruits of labor, witch is a product of your own life and your property.
Ron Paul and Dennis Kicinich? No, it ain't gonna work. Although both of them oppose war in Iraq and interventionism, they have diametrically opposite views on socioeconomic matters. Dennis Kucinich is a closeted socialist, while Ron Paul is an advocate of laissez fair capitalism. Socialist and capitalist ain't getting together.
The priority should be a healthy democracy, with honesty in they executive branch and opposites it could be good and if they joined forces it would draw attention .
Let me tell you how this so called Democracy works...The real people in charge of this country tell us who we can vote for. If the person running for office cant be controlled they are pushed to the side and are told you cant win. People should be vary wary of the front runners in both partys because they have been bought and paid for along time ago.
Eastwood13 is absolutely correct. Make no mistake: Hillary *ain't* high on the DNC radar for nothing. Just like her husband - they talk the "progressive" talk, but work for corporate interest. The same with Edwards. The primary problem I have with Ron Paul is his low opinion of my rights as a woman. I cannot be an empowered member of my country, if I can be forced to carry a pregnancy against my will. KUCINICH would have to lead that ticket for me.
You have forgotten the other candidate to be included in a grand coup d'état ,Mike Gravel for Attorney General, let it simmer,it begins to wash over you...what ya think?
I believe that a Paul/Kucinich ticket would vitalize a lot of voters who would otherwise not vote. Some just wont vote on purely party lines no matter how great the candidate is. Ron Paul to get us out of U.N. and bring our military back to the fort...and the big K man to help with social issues.
Oil and Water. Kucinich is a Socialist, the sole idea of getting rid of the IRS would constipate him.
Kucinich and Paul only agree on two issues: bringing the troops home and repealing the Patriot Act. AFAIK, about everything else is in diametrical opposition.
These gentlemen could work out their differences because I believe they would keep America's interests at heart. I would rather hear politicians disagree about the constitutionality of an issue rather then spinning the issues for their own political benefit.
It bears repeating...Mike Gravel for Attorney General. He would clean house! "You wanna spy on Americans...get the F outa my office and let the door hit you in the ass on the way out"
I also think that a Ron Paul / Dennis Kucinich ticket would be a winner. Alan Keyes, Mike Gravel....there are many fine, uncompromized Americans able to exercise the duties of office with honor.
i believe they both stand against NAFTA and the WTO...
but yes, they are socialist vs conservative... but the difference is that they are the REAL socialist and conservative candidates. all the top tier candidates are all corporate... not conservative or liberal, just corporate.
Its an interesting idea, the real problem is who would top the ticket. I know Paul has a large following, but Kucinich's is not small. Order matters a lot. If either of them is to win the presidency i would want them to put the other in there cabinet. I dont think they would be up to run as independents. I hope they win there respective primaries. That would be a great election, Kucinich vs. Paul.
There are online petitions in 2012 asking Paul to select Kucinich as his running mate, should he become the nominee.

Because the minimum wage is pointless and other things are also pointless, we need to kick federal goverment out of the way and out of your life.
Kucinich is for open borders and wants to turn our sovernity to the UN, which is part of the NWO that's code for New World Order.
