Personally, I find American horror films to be vulgar. They're mostly just gore and things that pop out onto the screen to make adrenaline flow. They tend to lack the psychological aspect foreign horrors have. However, that's not to say all American horror sucks. It just takes more time to find a good one.

I like horror movies in general be they American, Japanese, Spanish, Italian...whatever they all get the job done...but honestly Japanese movies have this mystique to them that makes them even more so terrifying, American movies are good but since we know most of the actors in them that takes away from the horror

@BloodyFandango LMAO Yeah so am I. The first time I watched this movie was on a big ass screen and I could not sleep that night. I must confess, I slept with the light on and the radio on low. This is really one movie that scared me sh*tless. Cause she comes out during the DAY! That was shocking for me, man. And now I am watching the original Jap version all alone at 2am. I must be stupid.
