@r0fLc0pt3rf0rtHewiN He has Wonder Guard as the special ability. Wonder Gaurd is what makes Shedinja unique. Shedinja can only be hit by super-effective attacks and indirect damage. The downside is that indirect damage is rather commonplace, and includes Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Will-o-Wisp, and weather damage (Sandstorm and Hail), and of course that it only takes one hit to knock it out.

2. Even with max IVs and EVs, 99% of smart Quagsire users use its better ability Unaware in most cases.

1. I have nothing else to say about this other than what I have said already about the Onix.

2.Either we have found the 1% or the opponent is not a smart Quagsire user. It's also possible that the Quagsire had Unaware, but it was frail in Defense to go down with 1 use of Shadow Claw. We don't really have any confirmation of which ability Quagsire has, or if the opponent was a smart Quagsire user.

@stardustchaser15 Shedinja's are kinda special. As they have an abillity that only allows Super Effective hits to damage it (and stuff like Stealth Rock), the pkmn designers thought giving it just 1 HP would ballance it out. Thus Shedinjas can't have more then 1 HP.

As for why (storywise), I presume its because Shedinjas the empty 'shell' of a Nincada from when it evolves into a Ninjask that came to live. They probebly meant to say it's very fragile.

if your opponent had leaft coffagrigus in it might have been able to tank some special hits from jolteon if he was fearing them and do damage with boosted shadow balls, potentially disrupting your sweep.

OK I was playing pkmn diamond in the battle tower 4 battles in the computer pulls out a shedinja on me I had Nothing I'll show you what I mean: Infernape dead he had fire attacks, Alakazam DEAD he had shadow ball, Garchomp dead she had shadow claw/swords dance,Gardevoir she had Shadow ball, AND THAT THING DID EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID: set up with stat buffing used baton pass to go to shedinja AND SWEPT MY TEAM!!!!!!!

@PkmnBW its ability wonderguard makes it so it cant possibly get hit by a move thats not super effective. so it's immune to like 14 types of moves. but so that its not perfect, if it gets hit, its a 1 hit KO move, obviously. if you have a free spot in your bag for carring pokemon and a pokeball, when nincada evolves, a shedinja will appear. very, very cool.

How to destroy a Shedinja:

First:Get a cofagrigus (mummy ability)

Second:give it focus sash

Now when shedinja attacks you, it will get the mummy and then if it tries to 1 hit k.o you FOCUS SASH, then attack shedinja with any move.
