RCA is obsessed with mainstream pop and (although she's fantastic at that too) they are punishing kelly for wanting to branch out. she is pleasing her fans by coming out with different things and RCA has a problem with that.

Go kelly for wanting some artistic control unlike Brittney and Mariah who just sit back and let whatever happen, happen.

it's bubblegum because "my december" didn't sell so well because it was too dark so... the company had to make some serious changes and they even threaten her. She was about to be droped actually. Kinda scary but she has a #1 album now, so... those dudes in RCA can bite their tongues for what's worth :S

Nobody would be stupid enough to drop kelly clarkson. she still sold a million cds. Ruben probably didn't even sell 500,000 of his last cd. Plus she's a worldwide superstar.

well the songs aren't as dark as my December but they still are in a way. Kelly has said that our favorite songs are usually dark. Which i agree with because we all feel pain and depression.
