@theGREATcoolio dont know anything abotu your former question, well i do they do give lessons to international students but some courses still need you to under stand japanese to a level< which is unkown by me.

If you want to study there as undergraduate you'll need at least a 75% (Level2 of the JLPT) of japanese, 101% of english knowledge and to acomplish with the average qualification, what is required for the university. For postgrade 50% of japanese, 102% english, recomendation letters, good average and a excellent research project for being accepted in a lab. Otherwise you'll always need Japanese language to survive outside the faculty, you'll not be in america.

i'll try to enter in april 2010, if you wanna enter, will be also in this date; due to my age i cannot access to the jap government schoolarships but you can, all you need is an excellent lvl of maths, physics, chemistry and a mid lvl(i guess 30-40%) of japanese, its a must cause you'd be going to japan just to prefectionate the language, I am also from México and studiying in the UNAM, contact me if interested.
