Still, stick the overall strongest against the strongest from both sides and you get a Brumak (or RAAM+Kryll) vs. the Scarab, which is actually their strongest living creature. There's no doubt the Locust would win.

Let's remember this though, people: the covenant is more like a religion than a real army. And in Halo 2 it splits almost in half, and starts fighting itself. Not a very strong army if you ask me. Then you have the locusts, who are united throughout the series. And in gears 2, here comes the Lambent locusts, so all in all, locusts beat covenant : )

I must admit i do have both of the games and enjoy both of them equally. Although the covenant are rabid little fuckers, i think that the locust will provail. If you pay any attention to the games, Brumaks don't need to be told when to kick ass, they're perfectly capable on their own. Like I said, take away the tech, Locust win; the only ones that'd really have a chance are the Brutes and Elites, but they're kind of a minority.

Let's remember this though, people: the covenant is more like a religion than a real army. And in Halo 2 it splits almost in half, and starts fighting itself. Not a very strong army if you ask me. Then you have the locusts, who are united throughout the series. And in gears 2, here comes the Lambent locusts, so all in all, locusts beat covenant : )

All you gotta do to kill a grunt is punch it. Punch a grub and it just gets pissed off. Punch a boomer and it laughs at you. Punch a wretch and get a claw in your face. Punch a corpser and there's no reaction. Punch a berserker and you're dead. Punch a theron and get an explosive tipped arrow in your abdomen. Punch a bloodmount and you're dinner. I must admit i do have both of the games and enjoy both of them equally. Although the covenant are rabid little fuckers, i think that the locust will provail. Just think about it, the locust can pop out of the ground anywhere and slaughter the covenant. But i do suppose that the covenant could cower in space with there supercarriers. No way the locust could get them then though. But they could send reavers and the hydra into the atmosphere to murder them if they came into orbit. I dont know ?!
