I contacted Joe Williamsen back in 2005, he had this to say about the Hunter model.
"Hunter has been a "test mule" for me for a long time - I've used this model
to experiment with a number of technologies - everything from dynamics, to
motion capture, and camera tracking. She's pretty much just used for my
personal projects at this point in time"
