TF2 Killed By A Teleporter Exit

I was playing Gorge when I tried to backstab an Engie. I was disguised, being healed by an enemy Medic, when a Heavy came through the teleporter and materialized inside of me...

The funny thing is, I wasn't Telefragged, nobody came out of it.

You know, I've seen engineers set up in a high near inaccessable area (In other words, supposed to be inaccessable, isn't) with a teleporter right under them in their spot behind their sentry for quick access if they die. Can you telefrag someone with their own tele as a spy?

Ha, i did this today. There was this engi with a spawn camping sentry and i went over to sap it then stab him, but i was standing on or right next to an exit and i flew across the map and it said i was killed by the exit.

It happened to me too. I was a spy...the game said I got wrenched to death by a teleporter exit.

It's not a glitch. The engineer get's a kill on whatever weapon he was using. If it was the building or detonator then it's a skull.

The engineer didn't kill me. The tele did. And it showed a wrench.

The engineer built the teleporter. He get's the kill. The teleporter doesn't have any real kill icon. So it just uses the icon for the engineers current weapon.

telefragging=killed by people when you exit teleport.

He was apparently KILLED BY THE TELEPORTER because when he dies the tag said, "You were killed by the TELEPORTER EXIT of Phar4dox."

It's a telefrag. Supposed to be common in games with a teleporter. Seeing as you two are on opposite teams, the other player is solid, and seeing as you two can't be on the exact same space at the same time, you die.

If you stand on enemy exit and someone teleports, exit kills you. Search in google "telefragged"
