Palestine comes from the hebrew word Philistine. These were people who lived in a land called philistia which is modern day Palestine. Its major cities were Gaza, Ashdod and Ashkelon. Arafat wasn't a leader he was a puppet just like Saddam. Israel was created by the British who love to cause division for example, Israel and Palestine, Pakistan and India, Bosnia and Serbia, Iraq and Kurdistan to name but a few.
