Now her duet with country star Jason Aldean "Don't You Wanna Stay" has just gone #1 on Billboard Country charts. On March 7th, you may be hearing this duet on your local AC, Hot AC, top 40 radio stations. It's abeautiful ballard. Waiting patiently now for Kelly's 5th. It sounds epic!!!!
She's soooooo talented. Gosh, she's amazing. I'm awestruck every time i hear her. And did you see her face?! I literally wanted to cry, and she looked like she wanted to. I don't disagree that her weight puts her at a disadvantage (For the record, I think she is absurdly gorgeous, but pop cultures has different standards). But I think you are overlooking simple facts like when she was in tip top shape, the music she was putting out was much more groundbreaking. I don't think her album sales/awards this time around has THAT much to do with her weight, so much as the quality of this product. All I Ever Wanted is enjoyable, but Breakaway was an EVENT.

The great thing about Youtube is that some people who have never heard this song of Alanis might find there way to her original version and they might agree that the original is better. Either way Kelly has done Alanis a favor. This cross linking happens all the time on youtube and it can open people to new/older artists.
Another example of why Kelly is so respected by people in the music business. She has amazing musical instincts and an amazing voice. Also, if you think she is heavy then you need to get out from in front of your bulimic computer and take a look at what people really look like out in the real world and maybe start by looking in the mirror. I think she looks great.
I read in a magazine and online once that Kelly used to be bulimic. The fact that she has put on weight and so many people are pointing out, yet she's still up there not worrying about it, is amazing. I have such respect for her, even though I'm not really a fan. I hope that kelly will make an album in the future that features all her covers she done and i want them live not in studio.
It sound so much more real live to me and for some reason she sounds better live to o.O.
I also want her to do a country cover album and some of her own songs in that album to.
However her next album is electronic so we will have to wait for the next next album :D

The great thing about Youtube is that some people who have never heard this song of Alanis might find there way to her original version and they might agree that the original is better. Either way Kelly has done Alanis a favor. This cross linking happens all the time on youtube and it can open people to new/older artists.

Another example of why Kelly is so respected by people in the music business. She has amazing musical instincts and an amazing voice. Also, if you think she is heavy then you need to get out from in front of your bulimic computer and take a look at what people really look like out in the real world and maybe start by looking in the mirror. I think she looks great.

I read in a magazine and online once that Kelly used to be bulimic. The fact that she has put on weight and so many people are pointing out, yet she's still up there not worrying about it, is amazing. I have such respect for her, even though I'm not really a fan. I would absolutely die and my self esteem would crumple and fade away to nothing if people were calling me fat, and I'm bulimic. So the fact that she's not scared to get up there and perform when she's put on weight... that's amazing.

i have to say honestly that i prefer kelly heavy than skinny.
Why? It's just something about her when shes heavier that just tells me she really doesnt give crap what ppl thinks and that you shouldnt really care what they think of you, wear what you want to wear, do what you want to do etc.

first i've never ate chicken wings, not so popular in my family(maybe burgers ;] ). and i am not fat, and i workout every second day(almost), just because my mother is afraid that i should get just a little fat, like herself (sorry mom) and i'm tired of it, and i know that Kelly isn't fat, and how hard it is to be thin. maybe it's very easy to you, but others are struggling with it, and i guess that's how it is for Kelly too, and i think Kelly is beautiful just the way she is, AND I'M NOT ALONE!

Oh please. Its plain that Kelly has gained a lot of weight this past few months. It doesn't diminish her singing skills, but it it is NOT healthy. Being overweight is NOT healthy.
To say that she is "comfortable with herself" is just an excuse to not stay fit. And no, calling it for what it is, is NOT bullying.

No one's hiding the fact that she's gained weight, but that doesn't make her overweight. Also, people can't expect her to look the way she did when she was like 21. It's just that now in this industry, looks are MORE important than talent. Hell, look at Miley Cyrus! No one can deny that she can't sing.
