Try adding 'yt:stretch=16:9' to your video tags, it should widescreen your video mate.

@kennetht04 The footage is in 4:3 ratio, not widescreen. I'd rather not fill the whole screen (For those of you with widescreen monitors) than distort the picture to fit, or lose the top and bottom.

@DYLANTHOMASthePOET Umm, the two in this video are from the Sony handycam range. One is miniDV, the other is Digital8. They are really cheap on ebay, and because handycams were popular, it's easy to buy extra batteries. If you buy a HD camera, don't get a cheap one. They use every trick in the book to be able to record video that is the SIZE of HD, but that doesn't make it better. They often digitally upscale a smaller image upon output, or compress the video heavily or use a low frame-rate

My little Olympus digital camera has a good HD view but no zoom so that's hopless. I am more into Orbs and materialsations so my project in the future will need a good camera with sound. Cam or no cam. Thanks again.

@DYLANTHOMASthePOET Don't worry about zoom. The first thing I do when I get a new camera is tape over the zoom controller. They put them right under your finger so you are always accidentally zomming in a little bit here and there. Plus, whenever you use the zoom it looks like an amateur wedding video or something. ALSO, at night, in nightshot mode the camera doesn't have enough range for the zoom to be any use at all.

Hey mellow, I do think your house is haunted, I have experienced living with the paranormal as well, but don't you think these ghost hunting expeditions are bollocks (you've got this Yank talking like a Brit)? You can't produce spirits on demand, you don't find them, they find YOU. I hate the terminology all of these "experts" use also, that's why your vids are cool, no fuzzy paranormal speak. Sorry to say, but I don't think this vid fits in with your other fine videos. BTW, I like your music.

@rutgers1961 I think this video perfectly fits in with this channel. Even without any strange paranormal things (except the orbs) this video perfectly shows the atmosphere of a ghost haunting. I'm still dreaming of a trip to Pembrokeshire, to do my own investigation of the ancient cemeteries and Castles. I want to capture a Ghost on my Digital HD video camera, and I know what to do with it next...

@KARX0 , I Must respectfully disagree about the atmoshere of a haunting, I lived by myself in a haunted home not unlike Mellows, it was a clean, bright, renovated old home that wasn't creepy at all. When you have a ghost (I believe I had more than one) it is a very personal thing, not a spectacle that these investigations make it out to be. You adjust to it, it does not adjust to you. Unlike Mellows low-key vids, these profiteers (TV shows, ghost tours) make the skeptics, well, skeptical.

At night, in the daytime... This video perfectly shows the atmosphere of a ghost haunting at Castle under cover of NIGHT.You lived by yourself in a haunted home, and you had a Ghost. @KARX0 thankfully, I didn't live with a poltergeist, my haunting was benign and I would have become unhinged living like mellow. Yes, being haunted is a 24-7 thing, you just don't know when they're gonna make their presence known. I will admit I hated nightime, I would sleep with the lights on in the hall, but why are all of these TV/public ghost investigations held at night? To heighten the suspence, this is what makes it sensationalism.

The purpose of these "investigations" is to make a SHOW, to get more views and high ratings, to make an eye-catching video with an interesting plot. They don't care about the actual investigation, it's just a SHOW! The show, where advertisers can place their stupid ads.That's the core essence of TV.

@vvvSeVeNvvv Yeah, we did split up later, though. There were about 40 people there and it's a pretty small castle, though there are plenty of locations for us to have split into groups of 7 or 8. I think they wanted to be sure that there was at least one medium with each group.

It's always fun to go on an investigation, however one with this many people just doesn't work. There is a lot of noise, not to mention you don't seem to get a lot of activity with a large group like this. At the most, 6 people is good enough. You're a lot better off going with 3 close friends that are serious about ghost hunting, if you would like to get any footage or audio of something.

It strikes me that an 'investigation' with this many people wouldn't work out very well. I mean, for example, absolutely NO evp would be considered even possibly 'real' with all the noise pollution from everyone.
