This was GREAT! Made it for the whole family for our afternoon lunch with a coup of chicken noodle soup. I believe it was the best. Thanks for making this. Hopefully looking forward to more of sandwhich recipes :)
Thanks for the video its probably one of your best. (please note I rate your videos based on how much I salavate while watching your videos!!!) I substituted the ham with tuna, chicken, salmon and mixed veg. They make an excellent lunch!!!! Thanks again.
Love it, they looks so delicious. These are just a great snack, to have it in the morning with a glass of Orange Juice. I hope you put on more great sandwiches' recipe.
When i watched this video i couldnt wait to try this recipe , i made one today , could be one of the nicest quick and easy recipes out there , thanks for sharing !! :)
Just the sound of that crush sounded amazing, Could you give me perhaps an idea if i could open top grill them? Also, Could you possibly give me a rough idea on how much this cost you? Thanks. :)
Ref open grill, it’s probably better in a fry pan rather than open grill. It would be difficult to squash the Panini down whilst cooking under a grill.
Had a look at the cost of Paninis. On the basis of the actual ingredients used roughly £1 to £1.20 per Panini. If you had to buy all the ingredients from scratch and only made 2 Paninis, the cost would be more. Roasted peppers are one of the most expensive items but they keep in the fridge and can be used for many Paninis.
I thought it would be good idea to show both cooking methods so I don’t restrict my audience. (Not everybody has a grilling machine) But I am sure most of us enjoy a good Panini.
Ref “is panini bread the same as ciabatta?” The truth is I’m not be exactly sure. both are ‘open crumb texture’ inside (riddled with large, irregular holes) ideal for soaking up the juices with a relatively soft crust that holds up well whilst being grilled. If I find the answer, I will let you know
try it on your panini chef, if u love strong favour, you might like it as well, if i do the frying me also use just olive oil sometimes with butter, Anyway give it a try chef :))) thanks
@OriginalNakedChef its great that you make time to reply to your subscribers, just a suggestion for future videos, maybe you could give us an estimate on how much the meals you make would cost to buy the ingredients thanks again
It's good to receive feedback to what viewers like and don't like. It also does influence how I edit my vids.
When I make my vids I always try to make them so my viewers will enjoy them. I like to use the run through at the start to show a quick pre-view of what’s to come. That way you get an early indication of whether you are going to enjoy watching it.
Also I know from a previous comment that you also like the longer vids :)
I know you like your strong flavours. I must admit, I think that most of the time I do use extra virgin olive oil but just tend to say olive oil. However I tend to use the cheaper brands for when I am frying. If I have a good extra virgin oil, I tend to use that more on salads.
And another thing Chef... have you thought about making a facebook page? Really popular now and you can keep in touch with your fans like that a lot more and you even get more popularity with that, since people usually recomend this kind of things to friends.
I must admit, up to now I have mainly stuck with youtube for staying in touch. At some stage I will set up a website and probably a facebook account. I am probably missing out by having neither.
Thanks for the suggestion; I do keep them in my thoughts. It’s probably something for the near future.
I always like to make sandwiches and thanks for the video, new idea. I just hate to make sandwich with older bread, like 2 or 3 days old, it gets too dry. There is nothing better then fresh bread and all that things you had. Is Panini bread similar to Ciabatta bread or something diffrent?
If you want use the same ingridients in a ciabatta you can, I think they do half ciabatta which might be a better size to use. Otherwise to could make a similar grilled sandwich with some nice thick bread that you cut from a loaf yourself.
ONC, are you a professional chef? If not quit your day job and become one because these videos are utterly fantastic! You've got a really good 'behind-the-camera' presence:) thanks
I must admit I like to eat Asian food but don't cook it very often. I wished I had more spare time to make more vids as I get asked for a lot of different dishes and styles and would love to keep up with requests.
Thanks for your comms and suggestion and if I get time I will see if I can come up with something :)

Made a couple of these for supper last night - they were delicious! I'll now be making these on a regular basis despite burning my thumb on the cover.
Two reasons why I won't sue. Firstly you did warn everbody to be careful and secondly the Panini's were absolutely scrummy! Many many thanks. Eddie
