I think I prefer your other video of this piece on YouTube as that one is slightly more flowing, but it's interesting to hear you playing it differently here in a live concert. Even though this 'live' performance is more extreme in tempo and dynamics the other performance conveys the loneliness of the piece better. But the powerful effect on the music comes over in both versions, and I like both. What was the concerto which you played with the orchestra before this?

I'd love to see you play the crazy Copland piano concerto on YouTube. I'm a big Copland fan and I played ALL of his solo piano works in one evening recital in London for his 90th birthday in 1990; I also recorded his four most important piano works for commercial CD.
