I live 2hrs away from Sydney I love where I live its full of Austrlains. I travel to Sydney alot, it seems like a whole different country. Sydney CBD areas are full of Asians and west of Sydney its full of middle easteners. We should expand our own culture and put a serious stop to immagrants.

If you think Rudd's a communist or a socialist, you clearly don't know much about either but are being drawn into rightwing reactionary crap. If Rudd were really a socialist it'd be a good thing; but sadly he's not; not even close. Would a communist propose a market solution to carbon emission reduction? Would a communist give billions to private schools? Would a commie stick up for laws that deny the right to strike or give welfare to the rich? Rudd has done all these and worse.

@samm1809 mate, i think the mining industry tax has been really badly thought out policy, however it is no closer to socialism than the gst was which is a far broader based tax and you could say added government ownership of the profits of everything by 10%. rudd isn't going to say we're a socialist dictatorship because none of his policies have shown that is his goal. real socialists have an incredibly aggressive reform agenda. rudd has done a whole lot of nothing

Let's not forget the key difference between Australia, the UK etc and countries like China; trade union movements. It is purely because of trade union struggle that Australians enjoyed the 8 hour day, livable minimum wages, or any rights at work what-so-ever. If you want Australia to be like China, heaps of poor and a few rich; vote Liberal.
